Hi, just wondering if anybody has noticed a down trend for articles. I'm not getting the boost in rankings I used to get. Anybody else seeing this?
I've also noticed this. There's a little bit of direct traffic still but it's not having much effect on rankings.
It's because the article marketing sites are all flooded with so many people these days. But the traffic I see from articles is usually very engaged, with higher than average page views per visit and time on site.
Just curious, what kind of boost did you used to get? and what are you getting now? I'm still somewhat new to SEO/SEM and article submitting. Thanks
article marketing still works but not the way as it has been in the past. good old days of submitting one article and get 100s of backlinks are over as most of those dup pages will get filtered out by google. now you need to submit unique artciles or if you are doing mass submission, need to submit lot more articles than before
Well my site gets higher traffic on index because the index has lots of backlinks the articles get low traffic.
I agree, it is all about submitting original, unique quality articles, then following up and making sure these articles are indexed by Google afterward. If not, build them a few backlinks to ensure they get indexed.
I would always suggest unique content but big G algorithm is not powerful enough to eradicate duplicate content from its higher rankings. I have released the the same article to quite a few article sites and have had top 10 ranking for 2 or 3 of them, same article different submission.
classic nad unique Articles may be more powerful,and they will spread throngh the web quickly and give you traffical and backlnks
No, article is still same value if your article is unique content. Actually lot of articles writer edit some old article and publish them, that is method not value. Google don't give value and they don't cache by google, i have seen this matter. if you write good content and fresh content article then no problem this will get cache soon by Google and will get rank.
I think article content is the most important thing for SEO because The most successful blogs are written by those who are passionate about their contents. When you write about topics that excite you, will write to communicate a sense of energy, as will captivate readers. You will also be more likely to remain in the blog, and will not leave your blog after several days or weeks.
Maybe some of you use article submitter or sort of it.But i like to do manually.The author box is really import and "Dont Just Link To Your Homepage".Deep link. And make sure also the anchor text variation.If all is the same ,its look like spammy.Try it and you'll see ....
