Hi all, Just considering buying some traffic and sending it through a landing page for an affiliate program. Has anyone had success doing this? What Traffic sites would you recommend? thanks Just-In
If its not targeted (The people being sent aren't pre-qualified as interested in your product) you might as well flush the money down the toilet. You are better to pay for traffic through something like AdWords.
it all depends, there are different types of traffic, for example some websites will have a thousand websites linked to them that rotate and users mindlessly leave their computers to visit thousands of pages. On the other hand there is traffic sources that are much more expensive than these, but are well worth it, depending on ur needs. My company BigTraffix offers organic real users that are brought to ur website via a similar domain redirect. What happens is a domain is bought that has recently expired and use to be a marketing website. Then if u register for a category such as marketing then the visitors who go to the now expired marketing website will be redirected to ur website ensuring that u get the best quality mass targeted traffic possible.
Where you buying it from? I've had bad experiences in the past buying traffic only to realize its proxy traffic.. waste of £20 best way is to back link, its hard work but keep browsing this forum and searching
I would`nt recommend buying traffic, most of the sites that offer these kind of services are using pop-up and pop under ads to show people your site. IMO they are a waste of time and money

Thankyou for your help on this one, The visitors would be Targeted , but after reading a few of these posts and doing some reasearch it looks like its Back to the Keyboard for a while. I do run adwords, geo targeted to australia. My Product is very new so there are not that many searches for it yet. (Its adult related so most sites tell me to P'off when I ask for a link) I am seeing an Increase each month in searches but still only a pool of a few thousand to work with. (Frustrating) I'll concentrate on Adwords I think and work on Product awareness. THANKYOU!!

It depends if u could do that with art , a lot reserches before hand is absoultlely necessary and it may bring you immediate revenue.
It looks like you want to follow bad advice, which means you will not get that much traffic, no matter what you do.

Are you talking about paid marketing or advertising? Well.. Some websites became successful through effective advertising such as paying for traffic (targeted). Google Adwords is i guess the largest advertising networks in terms of revenue. Correct me if i'm wrong.
