Yeah I read that as well when clickbank posted it a few months ago. Seems kinda strange though... if you go to Jeff Mulligans own product pages you'll see no use of this technique >.>

To be honest, sometimes I click on the order button just to make sure that my affiliate cookie is set. I think I am not the only one.

It is just amazing! I liked the graphical representation of mu clickbank statistics. It is much easier for me to track my performance.

    Hi,
Im a newbie so please excuse me. I just checked out the new CB analytics and the new hop numbers CB reports are like half of my old ones. For example, today the new analytics shows i have 202 hops & the old analytics for the same day shows 598. For the previous day, new analytics show 412 and old analytics show 969...and so on. Huge differences! If I look at the past 2 weeks, my new hops are half of my old analytic hops. For just about any time period, the new analytics are half of my old numbers. I called CB and got some girl that was pretty lame so i asked for a supervisor. The supervisor said be sure to ask for client services when you call. Her name was Melissa and she can't explain what happened. Melissa said she would email me back...we'll see and I'll try to keep you updated. I thought I was getting about 1000 hops/day..and now come to find out it might be half that. If the hops were that far off...who's to say anything else was working right? I spoke with Melissa and she said she would speak to the coders or tech people to try to find out what's up and email me back. I hope I get a real answer and not some lame canned answer. CB also says they will remove the old analytics in coming weeks--which would take away my proof they had messed up numbers. I can't believe no one else is having the same problem. I know this new system is a day old, but surely I'm not the only one with numbers that far out of whack? I have seen other posts on here concerned about clickbank reporting & analytics. Some people said low sales were due to the economy, etc. Now these numbers confirm my worst fears. If someone has real answers, I'd love to hear them...

Very interesting! Turns out, some articles that I wrote about 3 months ago and submitted to directories are still giving me clicks :X 15 clicks in the last 14 days, but no conversions though.

I agree with Devour - a lot of people will just click on your Order Now button to see that the price is what you say it is, or affiliates testing the Clickbank Order Page to make sure their affiliate link is at the bottom. Others may click it, get to that page and realize they don't have their credit card with them, or they get a phone call or something and will come back and complete the sale later. Some people may get to that page and think "Do I really need this?" and choose not to buy it. Lastly, maybe the persons payment was declined and that's why there is no sale.

Bottom line - just because someone clicks your Order Now button doesn't mean you have a sale. There are many reasons why.

I think some of you are getting confused.

    There are three stats

    1) Hops to the Sales Page
    2) Order Form Impression - this is where you fill in your details and payment info
    3) Order Form Submit - this should result in a sale, unless credit card details rejected or CB order system down

I like it. I cover quite a few products and this makes it far easier to evaluate what is converting. MUCH BETTER.

Pretty sad if this is true. I had one product that had 6 submits and 2 sales from it.

I think it is pretty common for people to push the button a few times untill they got all the credit card numbers right XD

I would say is not..before submitting a payment form, people double check the info to make sure they entered the right data..
