replace my existing old P4 PC with new one - suggestion required

    i want to replace my existing old P4 PC with new one.
    The new pc should be cheap and handle daily 4 to 5 hours browsing and occassional gaming
    Can i go with AMD Athlon64 bit or core2duo or dualcore processors?
    Is it worth to purchase desktop PC built on intel atom processor?
    Whic is best one?

    Intel Atoms aren't for desktops they are mainly for mini laptops and please specify more of what games you play or would like to play ? and price limit *specify currency and country you live in *

    I doubt it but yeah if you just want to do some browsing and occasional gaming i would reccomend AMD Athlaon64 and probably a Ati 4350 HD Graphics Card
