Google voice for UK?

    I got a Google Voice invitation from Google today, only to find that it's not available in the UK yet..

    Why did they bother inviting me? I guess it's because I've always been part of their BETA invite-only features etc.. But they know I'm in the UK so what the hell?

    Anyway, this is besides the point... What I'd like to know is does anybody know when they plan to go international or atleast offer Voice to the UK?

    My guess is "no." But I thought it was worth asking, somebody may have some information on it which I can't find yet.. perhaps there are some Google folk among us?

    Thanks for any responses, I'm really interested in Google Voice :D

    rumor said: end of this year
    but rumor also said google OS will come out later this year, so seems rumor went to fast

    I have not hear about Google voice till now. I just check the site and it is another nice service from Google...

    Yet they haven't specified any date but hope end of this year we can expect it available for the whole world.

    BTW, have you logged in Google Voice account? What it shows?

    Yeah I logged in and it just says "This service isnt available in your country yet, but we hope to expand soon" or something (N)
