What tools do you use for keyword research?

I'm new to this and was thinking about purchasing ShoeMoney tools as everything seems to be there and ShoeMoney's internet marketing course shows you how to use it but I would like to know some free tools so I can use them as well once my ShoeMoney tools trial is over.

The best free keyword tool is the Google AdWords tool. Here is some great paid keyword research software. What specific tools does Shoemoney offer?

Wow, how can you actually make that claim? I have never even heard of Traffic Travis, but the other keyword tools you mentioned are highly inaccurate. They are only good for amateur keyword research.

I use google keyword tools (trends and insights as well). All keyword tools seem to display different information. I do not really need the extra information those expensive keywords tools offer for the high price tag.

It is true that other keyword tools can be pricey, but if you know what you're doing you can easily make up for that with the prime keywords they uncover. If you just use the Google keyword tools, you are just optimizing for the same keywords as everyone else. You would miss out on many keyword gems.

I only rely on the free keyword suggestion tool of Google. It's the most accurate and comprehensive online keyword tool out there. Wordtracker's keyword suggestions are misleading. I don't use it anymore.

I use the free version of Wordtracker. I've been told that it's the most accurate tool, and I am realizing that that is true.

I always thought market samurai was the best. Too bad you have to pay for it after the trial ends.

I love seobooks keyword tool. It`s even better that keyword tool external from google. It gives you Yahoo, Google and MSN dayli estimates, trends for the selected keywords and a lot of stuff completly free. It`s the best tool to have around.

Adwords tool. I use it when I'm setting up my ad campaigns. Other than that, I use my own experience to decide what I want to rank for, my site is a hobby of mine so I have a unique perspective on choosing my keywords. I also ask people in the industry what their typical search terms are.
