How long did it take for you to make 1st $100 and 1st $1000 adsense income?

    I've only made $150 in six months, but it was only for one blog that has sucky traffic. I only started 'trying' at this about a week ago, and hopefully I'll make more now that I'm putting some effort into it.

    it took more then 4 months to cross that 100 mark, but now i would be able to cross next 100 in half the time :D

    Took 3 months to get to my first $100. I feel I did alot of hard work to reach that amount too. I've read so much on adsense and I'm not sure I've followed the right advice. Although, I'm now making $100+ per month...so it's a start. DP threads sure has helped quite a bit, so glad to be here now!!

    I've picked really low paying niches as well, it seems. Maybe I'll get to my first $1000 quicker if I pick some higher paying niches, huh???

    it took about 4 weeks to make the first $100, but i was slowly adding adsense to more and more pages. I broke 1k on my third check, 4 months.

    The fastest way is to be an existing site with traffic that has no adsense or has poorly implemented adsense. It is amazing how many people don't even bother to blend the background color of the ads (for example).
