The 5871 downloads includes the total no. of downloads, including the ones that have been paid.. How much you have been paid till now?
When did you request for the payout? I made a payout request on monday (July 27) & haven got it yet..
how much did you requested? EDIT: I just received 'downloads counter' explanation from storage.to. Here it is: I feared they will pull out this 'non paying for all countries' at the end. But at least they put an explanation, no matter how bad it is. Now at least we have an 'official' confirmation.
They official confirmation doesn't say anything about unique users or downloads. Read my two previous posts. Storage.to seems to only count 1 IP = 1 download no matter how much the IP downloaded.
I requested last week thursday/friday..I'm requesting not more than 25$, this way i can atleast sleep peacefully. Another 21$ is pending..I guess i'll need to wait couple of days for that.
I wasn't asking them, because I don't need information about that matter. But since I see lot of you are confused with that, let me try to explain: For instance: I share 2 files: 1.rar & 2.rar You download only 1.rar and I get 1 point You download 2x 1.rar and I get 1 point. You download both files and I get 2 points You download 2x 1.rar & 2x 2.rar and I get 2 points You and you friend (using the same ip address with the same ISP) downlaod 1.rar both, I get ONLY 1 point You and you friend (using the same ip address with the same ISP) downlaod both files, both of you, I get ONLY 2 point. You (as premium user) download 100x 1.rar, I get 1 point You (as premium user) download 1.rar and you friend as free user (and with same IP) downlod 1.rar, I get 2 points 2 premium users and one free user download the same file, I get 3 points I don't understand what is not clear about that. The only thing that may be wrong in what I just wrote is if they allow 100x downlaod of one file and get 100 points, but imagine if someone 'organize' that lot of his friends that are using the same ISP and the same IP start downloading same file. That will not be in the interest of storage.to. So I believe no matter how much time you download one file from the same IP, you get only one point. But if 2 premium users download the same file you get 2 points. 2 premium users and 1 free user download the same file, you get 3 points. It's because premium users PAID for premium. That way by using, for instance 2 premium accounts storage.to know that these are 2 different persons and not one. It's because nobody is crazy to pay for 2 premiums if he can get everything with only one.
No matter how they're counting, storage is better than any other host for the time being.Stop worrying and promote more
I am not the one who worry about storage.to payment. BUT I do worry if I will every see the money that I earned. I cannot receive money on my PayPal, so I asked storage.to to support ePassporte. Storage.to promissed me 2 weeks ago that they will add support for ePassporte in next 2-3 weeks. 2 days ago I asked them what is there status with ePassporte, and they just answered me that they had problems to open ePassporte BUSINESS account. And that ePassporte didn't told them why they coudn't let storage.to to open ePassporte account. Storage.to told me that they will keep trying, but I don't put any hope for that to happen. I don't understant what is the problem to open an BUSINESS ePassporte account, when lot of hosters or affiliate programs already have bussiness ePassporte accounts. I have personal ePassporte account, but since I am from certain country, I can only receive money from BUSINESS ePassporte account holders. So right now I don't know what to think, because I fear storage.to will let me down on this. If anyone of you have few seconds, please send an request to storage.to to add ePassporte account. Even if you are using paypal without problems. It may help a lot to us who can't receive the money thru paypal. So...THX if you help us get ePassporte support on storage.to.
nexuslivez, thank you very much. Few weeks ago when I request them to add ePassporte, they first told me that only few ppl asking for ePassporte. So I guess they need higher request numbers to work a little harder to put ePassporte support. Though, I really don't understand what kind of problems they can have to open an BUSINESS ePassporte account.
I don't think it is any problem to open a business epassporte account for these guys.If they are serious about business..they will need to consider multiple options..just like other hosts did.
Yes, I told them that, too. I don't understand nothing at all. The only thing that may be a reason is if ePassporte forbidd BUSINESS acounts for certain countries. BUT I am checking now and there is not restriction as far as I can see. To load money on your ePassporte BUSINESS account, you need to load at least 100 USD and you can do that only thru wire transfer that will cost you 30 USD. Since that is not a problem for any other business holders (hosters) I don't see what is wrong with storage.to getting an account. Or maybe ePassporte is suspicious about storage.to, because of this details: You can see that information on storage.to contact page.
Dude I don't think you understood my post: Friend of mine with IP adress 123 downloads 5 different files bigger than 100mb. Cousin of mine with IP adress 456 downloads 5 different files bigger than 100mb. Both are from germany, so one download should be 0,01$ I had 23 downloads counted in the earning program (including the 10 from my cousin and friend) and my balance was 0,04$ LOL. Do you understand it now? Even If all the other 13 remaining downloads were from asian (where the downloads don't count), what I doubt, cuz I posted only on german and us boards, I should have at least a balance of 0,1$. They are either cheating you on the downloads or they count only one download per one IP.
I understood you correctly. You should have at least 0.1 $ from your friends downloads. BUT keep in mind, that counter record every attemp of the download. Try it yourself. Try to start some file that you wasn't not sharing to anyone. And few min later that will be shown as one dowload. But you didn't downloaded that file, you just tried to download it. So maybe download counter show all downloads + attemps, and your earnings show only from these that are really finished downloading. Stll, if your friends really finished dowloading these files, you should have 10 cents for that. I don't know what else should I say. My stats too show big difference between dowloads counter and my earnings. Did your friend used a web browser to start downloading or they did the whole download by using one of these downloaders that goes around waiting time on hosters?
Both completed the downloads. BTW I was discussing it with some other users on another board, and they ALL reported counting issues with storage.to.
