    I am looking for

    20GB or more space
    500GB or more bandwidth
    Cpanel
    Unlimited FTP
    99% Uptime
    $30-40 yearly
    Fast speeds! (non overloaded servers)
US or Offshore (as long as you allow what I will do)

Use: I want to host my .txt files (yes text files) with links inside. Like a pastebin but since I don't own a pastebin and no one will code one the way I like, I want to use this as my pastebin. Each txt file is about 500B -1.5 KB.

    Regards,
    TaMpE

    Have you looked at godaddy?

Seriously i doubt you will find a non-oversold hosting company that will actually allow you to use that amount of resources. You may want to go with a vps or resellers hosting at the least.

You can find cheap VPS's at https://www.dmehosting.com/budget-linux-vps.php starting at around $5.95 per month and a reasonable amount of RAM which you shouldnt be using alot in your case.

No legit host can offer 500Gb bandwidth for 3-4$, cheapest bandwidth i ever saw is from FDC server who can give you around 15Tb (in +out) bandwidth on shared 100mbit port server costs around 200$+ @this price each TB cost more than 15$ (ie 7.5$ for 500gb)

And even then it is unlikely there will be a profit in it. 1Tb transfer is equal to over 3mbps at full saturation but given that traffic tends to have peaks and troughs they will more than likely need at least 5mbps just to provide that amount of transfer. I can't see them purchasing bandwidth for less than $3 per mbps unless it is running over a piece of string with a tin can at each end.

It's all about averages, overselling, and careful management. Some people will use the bandwidth or transfer limits but most won't and it's those that don't that pay for those that do.

Bandwidth costs money and decent multi-homed bandwidth costs at lot of bucks. It certainly isn't a free commodity.

I agree with most of the users, you cannot get quality or reliable services @ $40 / year. Unless you wanted to put that as $40 / month, in which case you can get excellent VPS services, and if required I can offer further 15% discount on the total pricing.

    Thx

I am interested in your 1.95/month plan. Do you allow what I will use it for?

Btw, to those who don't think I can get a good host for $40/year well I have one. It's hosted in US. I get 40GB space and Unmetered bandwidth. I am hosting a vBulletin forum with 3k+ members, loaded with a lot of vB mods. Still it's load as fast as Google and there have been only 1 down time since I bought it. So I asked for price around that. Lol. I hope this tells you guys that you don't judge a service by looking at the prices.

Hi Tampe, yes we allow what you're doing. If you'd like, we can also install a temporary Pastebin, meaningful for what you're planning to do, and if you don't like it we'll remove it on request, but please request it on the support ticket system firstly (or PM me personally).

    Thanks,
    Eagle.
