Hello everyone- I am looking for information on how to get my website in front of more people in Australia in particular. I'd like to be able to identify some skin care/beauty portals or forums where I can advertise or at least make some sort of a presence. I also am wondering if anyone has tips for generating Australian traffic. Thanks in advance, and anone with any suggestions or in-depth proposals, please PM me.
Get links from websites that Google deems relevant for australia....com.au domains, australian hosting, onpage usage of the word 'australia', etc. It helps if your own domain matches those relevancy tests too Personally I would use software such as SEO Elite to see where your top ranked competitors are linked from. Then copy a lot of those links or build similar links.
Doing the same thing as your competitors doesn't beat them If you want to target the AU market, get a .com.au domain and .com.au links. However, you require an ABN to register them.
Try to get links from site hosted on your targeted country and try post ads on local classified ads site.
- use more local terms on different pages of the site. - have your office address in the footer of the page - get some links from .au - get some links on anchor text like "Australia" - directory registration, try to register under Australia
You must do some bookmarkings and also submit your site in the google.com.au so that is will become popular.
