Nope. There is a God and He is real. The Creator of the universe and of every living soul. He is good.

I'm an athiest. Believing in a mystical man in the clouds is silly.

I'm agnostic. I don't believe in the god story but I do believe in a higher spiritual existence, just not some all-seeing, all-knowing entity that watches down on every human and controls their fate. That's just silly.

I've gone back an forth between agnostic and athiest. I think if anything I would adopt an eastern religion. Christianity is just silly and political.

I think it takes more faith to NOT believe than it does. I don't understand how you can't believe in a God. How did you get here? Science has clearly determined that something cannot be made out of nothing...so what are we? ....

Science has FAR more supporting answers for how we got here than the bible does. Science and evolution are amazing things. Taking that away and placing the credit in the hands of a mystical creator is taking away from the real beauty of the universe and the world. Every culture throughout time has had "gods" to explain things they didn't understand. The romans believed that the sun was carried across the sky in a charriot. Later we learned through science that this is not the case. Ignorance of how something works is not evidence of a higher being or god.

So where did that first being come up that "evolved"? I don't see science answering that.

sure it does. Do you think we just appeared as humans There were single cell organisms that evolved into complex organisms. Does the bible explain Dinosaurs? Of course not because the writers of the bible hard no idea that dinosaurs were around millions of years before humans.

People that don't understand evolution always dismiss it by misquoting it and saying it shows that we came from monkeys. In fact that isn't the case. We evolved along the same lineage as primates. BIG difference.

I was an anthropology minor in college along side my cs degree so ask away and I can walk you through it ;)

For a better understanding you might look up stephen hawking and some of his video's or writings. He is one of the most brilliant cosmologists alive today. He can offer far more insight into the creation of the universe than I can :)

I believe in science and the universe. I believe in the miracle of life. I just don't give the credit to some imaginary friend in the sky.

If there were a God, and it wanted to be worshipped, don't you think it would tell us? Why would it punish us for simply not KNOWING it's there? Especially a God that loves us.

That's because you've obviously grown up with that concept. It's like taking someone who has no concept of gravity and simply believes they go back down to earth when they jump and saying that if they go far enough from Earth they will fly. They won't understand the idea and may not be comfortable with it.

It's very easy not to believe in a God. Hell, we're all born with that same natural talent. I personally don't believe that if there were a God it would wish to be worshipped, and find it to be much more likely that we arrived here through some other way that we simply haven't thought of or even possibly could never understand or comprehend.

Ever heard of the Bible? That is exactly what the Bible is. God telling us that He loves us.

I'm with fsmedia, in the sense that it takes a whole lot of faith not to believe in God. How can you deny that there is a God and that he loves us when you look at the miracle of birth, or when you're greeted at the doorway when you come back from a long day at work with a hug from your kids?

Sadly, those that do not find their salvation in Christ alone, go straight to Hell and do not pass go. I have some friends that haven't been saved which makes me very sad, but I continue to try so I can be with them forever in Heaven.
