please any one show me what is Latent Semantic Indexing?why is used in Latent Semantic Indexing in SEO for website?
Latent Semantic Index is a technique in which search engines use for indexing and retrieval of web pages according to a search query. Suppose you search for query "home loans" then search engine will not only retrive pages with term "home loans" but they will also consider pages that have similar word like "housing finance", "housing loan" etc. So these days its good to optimize your site with not only your primary keyword but also with synonyms of your primary keyword. To know more about LSI you can refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latent_semantic_indexing
Also you can check your niche keywords or competitors sites in google keyword tool including synonyms to get more ideas what google is expecting from your site
nice topic.. i didnt know it is called Latent Semantic indexing.. kindly post more info if you come across something..
To add to what Stephen said this morning, there's no need to use LSI in your SEO campaign at this time. It's a cute experiment, nothing that can actually be deployed in the "real world".
By writing naturally for a human audience while using the main keywords you're optimizing for, you'll be able to get those synonyms in your page content (or Web copy if selling something) without even thinking about it.
