phpLD 3.06 Released

Just a quick announcement that we have now released 3.06

There are over 50 additions, fixes and upgrades, but among the highlights:
1) Category search in admin
2) Option to use Ajax category selection on the submit page (configured in admin)
3) Paypal Subscriptions
4) Easier to configure currency code in admin
5) New notification to send a message to people with expired links
6) Mass editing and deleting of links (similar to squirrel mail)
7) Improved paging
8) Expanded/improved banning system

Where do i get this from. It's not available in the download section

 

You would need to login from the homepage of phplinkdirectory.com with the username and password you created when you made your purchase.

Is there any problems upgrading from 3.05 (beta) to 3.06 ?

 

A fast look at the installed and running 3.0.6 reveal two issues:

1. $50 extra (tot: $75) for an "unbranded" version still include link to phplinkdirectory in the footer. You have to manually edit the template.

2. Is this how the A-tag should look: <a href="http://www.mydomain.com/" id="2" " "" target="_BLANK">
The extra " are not ideal, no.

 

These are both easily editable in your template files.
Buying the unbranded version still requires you to remove the link from the template. If you need any help, just post a message in the forums.

 

Awesome new script i just submited a backlink to the 3.06 and had no problems-keep up the good work!

I wonder if google fround opon domain name containing "directory". Perhaps you should just hit your dash board a few times and use whatever you get =)

YES! Multiple selection was BADLY needed, especially when you are getting like 200 submissions per day.

 

What to keep note of while upgrading an existing 3.0.5 directory to 3.0.6 one ?

Any specific changes one needs to make ?

 

The upgrade procedure is the same as all others.
(did you see the sticky at the top of the Supporters Forum?)
You can also view the change log which shows the changed files.
