Wordpress.CCTLD worth registering?

    I found that wordpress.*CCTLD* is available, but the price is $250 for two years. Does it worth registering it?

    Wordpress is a trademark owned by Automattic Inc. Therefore, you might have legal issue if you use that trademark in your domain.

    I agree with linkbuilding - you don't want to run into legal issues even though it's a ccTLD, TM violation may be the last thing you would like to run into and UDRP is oft ruled in favour of TM owners!

    Mhm... but I live in a small thirld-world country and the other TLD is from another third world country.

    And I plan to park the domain, not using it like the google.cm owner did.

    Not worth it you could take permission maybe they will alow after all its an open source script

    I agree with you guys. I suppose that is in any case is the risk and better avoid that. There are a lot of good domain names available here

    u can use that 250$ to get 1-2 good established sites :D :D

    How does living in a thidr world country help you in circumventing extablished trademark law and practices.

    Agreed, that automattic wont be going after anyone but if they find out about it, then its a different story.

    One complaint from automattic to the TLD registry and you will lose your $250.

    Dont believe me... then please go ahead and let us all know the final result.
