When you submit your Blog to general web directories ( not blog directories ) do you change the Title and Description that you use for the submission from time to time or do you keep to the same Title and Description for every submission?
I change the title slightly. Generally, I'll use a mix of 4 or 5 targeted keywords in a 2-3 keyword title. Whether that is good SEO practice, I'm not too sure..but I thought it seemed like a good idea.
Thank you guy123, i will go with that too and jumble around the keywords a little and swapping them for others from time to time.
Im thinking along the same lines as with Directory submissions for sites, so it is suggested that you should vary your Title and Description text for directory submissions and thats why i was asking about the blogs being submitted aswell. I have read a few times that it can look unatural to the search engines if the Title text is the same throughout hundreds or even thousands of submissions.
some times it happens when you submit a blog in a general directory with some key words inteed of title they send error "title is not unique to category"
? dont most blogs try and run a feed ? if so i doubt you can change the title of that feed but i may be wrong. Point i dont see why you would want to change the title. war and peace is war and peace, not my brother hit me now were freinds.
