I have a $2000 per month goal by March 2010. Is this a realistic goal? I am just going to promote clickbank products. What would be the best way to do this? I have started some free advertising and I have been working on article writing, although I need to get better at this. I have only made one sale so far. What are your suggestions to get to this goal? A little more info about me 1. I do not have a website yet 2. My niches are work from home and acne
1. Get a website or blog. If you're going to blog I'd suggest you go for the wordpress platform it's got great SEO plugins available. 2. As far as I know acne/work from home are quite competitive niches, not ideal for someone new to step into. $2000 a month is easily possible, but you should take a look into some PPC marketing as $2000 by SEO and free marketing methods will be quite a challenge.
Very if you manage your risk, understand what is it your doing understand the people that your marketing to. Good cashflow, keep costs low maximize profits margin when possible also treat it like a real job instead of some piss take. Most people fail not cause they don't understand what they are doing losts of black areas, and they approch it with the totally wrong attiude.
$2000 a month is hard goal if you are working part time. I have a full time job and I work part time as affiliate marketer...Man..it's tough. But with dedication and right marketing, you can do it.
I have about 4 hours a day I can do this. So I suppose it is part time. As far as a website goes, I've seen some free ones that I have started but they don't give me the look I wanted. I was trying to place a place for subscribers and I can't figure it out. Should I make a review type website?
By subscribers you mean email opt-ins? You can easily do this in a blog or any site with simple html.
The only sale that you have made so far can really encourage you to achieve your goal, but you may also want to try other niches too.
It is realistic, but who cares? The main thing is you gotta get crackin'. Work hard, don't be afraid of failure, and keep in mind that you'll see 3-4-5 days where you get now sales. Keep your head up, don't get discouraged, and keep trying new methods.
Very realistic - there is much time before your goal date. My best advice - team up with someone who has been in the industry for a while if you can, get tips and tricks from them - it will increase your learning curve and you will have a better chance at success quicker.
I would also suggest learn how to build a quality list(s) and $2000 a month shouldn't be too difficult.
It's realistic if you really put some effort into it. Plenty of clickbank affiliates are earning full-time income from it. The main thing is to work hard and figure out a strategy that works for you. You'll have to do it yourself, nobody will hand you something that works. So don't waste your time on all $59 get rich quick eBooks. there is no such thing as get rich quick. Everything in life is either hard, has low odds of success or doesn't pay that much
$2000 per month starting from 0 is realistic, however it depends who you are, what skills you have, how much time you can spare and above all your dedication. I know someone that in 1 year, he managed to go from $0 to a $12000/month clickbank business (and growing) - i also know of many that have earned far more than this and others that didnt made a penny. Its like fishing, if you are a good fisherman you can catch lot of fish, but if you are not a good fisherman you will have a hard time even to catch a single one. (your job is to learn to fish first!) If i was you i would first start working to earn something consistent - like a 1 sale/day target.
$2000 is a very realistic goal but will take dedication and hard work. Agree that the MMO and Acne niches may be a little too competitive for someone just starting out. I would suggest that you invest about $5 in some good .info domains (you can get 5 as they are 0.89 each at godaddy right now), but figure out your niches first so you can try to get domains with your niche keywords in them. Then, after you have done that, go to wordpress and use wordpress to host your sites. Personally, I would recommend hostgator because the cpanel is awesome for newbies, with the fantastico option to install wordpress, and the price can be as low as like 8 bucks a month. Use the wordpress platform because it is so easy and fast. You can get 5 really decent sites up pretty quickly. Just make sure to do your keyword and SEO research while you are building the sites. Then start your article marketing, directory submissions, etc,... It's not an easy road for the total noob and, being that you are only investing 4 hours a day, it will be extra tough but, by no means is it impossible.
All about knowledge and preparation. Test 3 methods, keep the best, scale it up. Rinse and repeat and you will hit the 2k mark in no time. Also, why limit yourself to clickbank? Why not widen your possibilities by adding more (and better) income streams?
