Hello Everyone, We are a design and development company and we want to know how other web designers feel about this question. What Resolution do you create your photoshop designs in for the web? Do you still go with the 800x600 or have you adjusted to the 1024 x 768? Or maybe your still wanting to do the ancient 640x480? Let us know how you do your designs now.
So you normally design for the 1024 x 768 resolution? That is nice as that is what we do as well, except we normally design with a 980 x 1210 canvase. If you don't mind us asking what makes you go so large as 1000? Or are you not really designing for the 1024 x 768.
hi, The poll should include other, varying or an option similar to it as web designs are not limited to 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, and 1280 x 1024. In my case, the design may be 800, 980, 1024, or more wide. It mainly depends on my client's requirements. If my clients want the design to be accessible to low resolution monitors then 800 wide will be good option. The web design mainly depends on target audience, if it's 3d gaming website or so then the visitors will most likely have high resolution monitors.
1024 x 768 is the current web standard, so it is what you should be designing for unless there are specific requirements from the client.
The resolution is 1024 x 768, as this is the standard resolution that is used for every web design, and i do like to use this only, as it does not put much impact on eyes, as you can see every thing clearly.
May I ask why your workspace is so large? We normally work in a workspace of 980 x 1210. What is everyones work space that they normally work in for creating reaching 1024 x 768.
I design at 1000px because usually the site itself is about 800px in width. The extra 200 pixels are so I can add and play with the background elements.
