Hey, We do mass emailing and other stuff. We were just wondering what kind of programs ya'll used and what you guys do on your business. We are really interested in what mass mailers everyone uses, what kind of inbox rates they have, and who do you get to write original articles, and who do you get to do your market research? Man, I hope that a lot of people respond because I sure would like some conversation.
Getresponse, Aweber, phplist and crm solutions like salesforce and zoho. I think the paid solutions are better than the free ones
i do too but here in the last few months alot of the big guys changed the rules how r u guys dealing with that we went and adapted with a different approach.
Personally i'm using AWeber and it is really fantastic in terms of their support, their performance is satisfied as well.
I normally get 99.99% inbox rate coz all my email list is 3x opt in. Which mean that the email user agreed to receive my newsletter. I write the original newsletter by myself.
we use can spam compliant just like the sub sites u guys talk about and have a great rate at it too....maybe im on the right path.
I am quite confused with this..I am not so familiar with mass emailing.. But good to have little explanations here..
ok mass emailing is sending mail about ur product,newsletter or any thingu want to get to as many people as u can...we currently have a list of mails that r at 1.2 mil..we send what every is span compliant. so as not to get in trouble with the feds..its easy to do the trick is to get into the inbox and not the spambox.
though im new to blogging - most of the successful bloggers i ve come across are using AWEBER - as a powerful tool to promote their blog/subscriptions
I'd much rather have 100,000 email subscribers than 100,000 visitors to my blog. Blogging is great, but it's not as much of a money maker. But to answer the original question, I have found Aweber great for email list management.
Correct me if I am wrong, but to me you look just like an email spammer. I highly doubt you have 1.2 mil optin subscribers. You even have a thread asking for email list trades..which btw it is forbidden here in DP If you are so good at emailing and you are working with such big lists, why are you interested to find what programs we use and how we do it? I mean..you must be a pro already..right?
Well I'm not new...But I am also not the best... I always ask, so if something new is out there that perhaps I am not familiar with, maybe I can try my success there..... I'm not just a mass mailer, I provide more services than that .... I just began posting on dp so i like asking questions that teach as well as help other readers. As far as the list of emails, i have a good one and yes they are 1.2million and they are opt in, perhaps not particularly to me, but they have opted in for 3rd party companies that we do business with. I promote of a lot of entities, such as online businesses, offline businesses, and even bands. The list is large and some are targeted but some are not. At least i have had great luck with it... Plus we are can-spam compliant, we don't do the underground mass gmailing thing. We are a legitimate company, so we cannot afford to have unlawful acts, which means to the people reading this, we mail can-spam compliant, and that is a very important fact, but it is extremely easy to be compliant. Then again, that sounds like a different thread. If you are too afraid to help the new people( I am not making a personal on the post above, just in general) then I wouldn't have gotten as far as I am in this business. And so I am just putting threads out, that are extremely helpful to not just myself, to figure out who is in this to help people and who is in this just to scrape information without giving any assistance of their own knowledge. Does that give you a better idea of the person I am? Is this helpful or not? I would like to hear other peoples opinions.
