Has anyone noticed any changes with Google and the links that they are crediting ? Some of the services that I use as evaluation tools seem to be having trouble with Google queries I am noticing that some of my blog sites that were given credit for links in Google seem to be not as strong Anyone else notice any changes or trends ?
Yes I noticed it too. I noticed it for my all sites.. There are a lot of fluctuations in rankings, almost all. Few days ago I read a thread in webmasterworld saying that Google is going to give less weight to less relevant linkage...
Google changes its algorithm from time to time thus making it unpredictable... Its better to stick with good content and relevant links to get a nice SERP in Google..
Well at least I am not psychotic ( well not anymore) The effects seem to be working their way down the SERP results
Google seem to have been messing with the algo most of July, especially noticeable on the UK serp but it's a general one too affecting .com as well.
Seems like part of a steady process for me that's been going on for quite some time lately. Even a year ago I have seen sites with hundreds of links ranking above those with thousands of links - just because their links were more on topic and higher quality - so nothing really new here.
lol, I think most of the google-watching seo community would disagree with you there http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/3952730.htm
It's like GG try to switch data back and try to change algo ,publish this new one for a while and again withdrawn them ,over and over this month.
Its pretty normal for them to change their search results algorithm every now and then as the spammers always finds a way out to misuse that.
It's new a new thing for Google, as they keep on changing and altering their search ranking factors all the time
Google changes it's algorithm many times but each time stick with one ethics that is the quality Link Building with Good Relevant content.
Google changes it algorithm very often...constant thing to keep in mind : rich content with ethical back linking strategy !
