you can also use 250*250 with that your clicking rate high check my site http://besthostrating.com i placed there two 250*250 adsense blocks in main topic. So i am receiving high clicks.
Please say us the niche/kind of site. Is it a wallpaper or a social network site? What is the source of your traffic. CTR will be the highest with good ad placement, color optimized and the traffic coming from search engines.
I'd make your links the standard bright blue. The green blends in too much and the ads are too easy to ignore. Also, Cinema 4d tutorials don't seem to generate very relevant ads to your blog. That's probably the main reason you're only getting an eCPM of only 0.04. Write some general posts on 3d software to get a better general base for Google to serve ads to your site. Alan
Hey, You need to choose better keywords to target. Use google's keyword tool or spyfu (google spyfu) to get a good feel for the CPC (cost per click) of the niche. Then target those keywords. It is good to target keywords that are paying AT LEAST 50c per click, but the higher the better. Google Keywords Tool adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Spyfu spyfu.com Good Luck!
Overall you are in the wrong niche if you want to make any money. The niche you're in pays very low, do a quick search on google for highest paying keywords and you will see what I mean. Yours will most likely be near the bottom of the list.
Never rely upon one blog and one advertiser. Add something else and start profiting It's that easy. Create more blogs, tweak them and you'll be getting good results.
That's a pretty bad conversion rate i must say. Try lowering the bounce rate of your blog and you can do that by getting some quality targeted traffic to your blog.
I'm also experiencing almost the same dilemma. I always get tons of clicks in Adsense, but very low earnings. Blame it on recession, advertisers are cutting down on their advertising expenses. Try other affiliate programs to generate more online income.
Its not the advertisers, its the niche competition. If there is low competition advertisers do not have to pay as much. Pick a better niche and you will get paid more for your traffic.
