Hello, I introduced this product/service http://tinyurl.com/properseo onto clickbank some few weeks back but am yet to make any sale. The commission rate us even 60%. Is it about my landing page or what? What do you think? I thought i had an Ok sales page. Cheers for any criticism. lol
There's probably many reasons why you are still yet to make a sale... First off, 60% commission is nothing on CB considering most commissions are 70-75%. Secondly your sales page isn't great. No nice looking graphics, some of the grammar is wrong and no testimonials. How can the buyer be sure your service will work? What exactly are you offering them... I didn't understand whether it was a software package or some after sales type service... When working with something like SEO, credibility is everything. Remember that .
I would say it's the page, without reading in depth it looks pretty amateurish. Get a site designer to make you a new one that looks more professional
Agreed about the sales page. You need to take a look at the top CB products and study their sales pages.
Saw your sales page, perhaps you have to change and put more better interesting words and sentenses that make people buy from you. Look at your design too.
Your sales page is not good. First of all you should go for a new designing and a better sales copy. A compelling and killer headline is a must for attracting visitors.
You need nice graphics and you definitely need to work on your copy. Ask yourself this: why would an affiliate promote my SEO product above Brad Callen's SEO products.
I hope you can gather all the feedback here and do the necessary. However, it is still depends on your personal point of views. Hope you can success and we are sure like to listen to your success story. Cheers.
I don't like the design, but the two biggest pieces are: Doesn't really have a good headline and the purchase button is tiny, hard to find, and doesn't stand out.
Whew, you bet. First of all, your opening line is: "Your website pops up on a top spot on Google, yahoo and or MSN for your chosen keyword or key phrase. The next thing you know, orders start flooding in faster than you can envisage, and you are banking the dollars. Gosh! If only it were so easy, yeah? Well, it can be done. Some webmasters or SEO experts are doing it and so can you." That doesn't do much for your reputation or product since you haven't made a sale yet. But, at least you are asking for help and at least you have taken a giant step by developing your own product/service. This is more than 90% of the marketers do. So congrats on that. You need to step back and learn the basics. You must realize who your audience is. In your case, it is IMers, which is probably the toughest audience you can tackle. We are very critical and expect a professional job, professional content, and you must convince us that you have the answer to our problem. Also, why would people visit your site? What are they looking for? Your page does not do that at all. 1. You have 7 - 10 seconds to convince a customer to keep reading. 2 things can do this. The first is a good looking site. The second is telling me that I can find the answer to my problem on your site. Your page does not do either. 2. Your testimonials read like you wrote them yourself. IMers will detect that right off the bat. For example, how can your services be recommended by a friend when you just told us you haven't made a sale yet? Your credibility as a marketer is vital to your success. Don't try to BS us. If you had a different audience, maybe someone looking for dog training tips, you might get away with it, but not with what you are offering. Also, your statistics image looks like you made that up too. I mean the site owner signed up for your service on 26 Jan, and the stats from that date to the end of the month are green, while the earlier days are all black. Does not look good..And of course you didn't have this product in January, did you? Credibility shot..Don't risk it! 3. Do your keyword research. Who is looking for your service? Take a look at the stuff under "Here is the deal". Change those FEATURES into BENEFITS and put that at the top of your page. Get rid of that American Dream stuff, cause it ain't. Your audience is people with websites. Tell us how we will benefit from your service and put that at the top of the page. Hopefully, this will help some. Writing a compelling sales letter would take me a few pages to do and I'm tired of typing. Best of luck to you!! It is a good service needed by many of us. Zeek
(Disclaimer: the following is not meant to be mean - it's meant to be honest and help you out ) The top few inches of your sales page are vague, ambiguous and confusing. Your "Proper SEO Service" text is tiny and basically invisible, and in a weird font. Then you've got a ton of well known logos, but I don't know what they're referring to. Why are they there? Then there's some more text that I can barely read because it's small, italic, a weird font and almost the same colour as the background, so my eyes skip over it. Then you've got some links which are badly placed and not at all relevant to me as a potential customer who is reading through your page. Finally we get to the headline. Which says... "This is the new American dream! " By this point I'm utterly lost. I have no idea what your website is about or why I should keep reading. And now I've got to dive into a long, rambling 5 line headline which looks long and boring. I'd scrap it (at least the top part) and start again. Have a look at the top 10 sales letters on Clickbank. See how they all start with a big, clear headline that tells you what the product is in as few words as possible? That's what you need. A big red headline which shouts your offer from the rooftops. Something like... "World Class SEO Services - Get To #1 Or Get Your Money Back!" See that? There's no way of confusing that sentence. Few other things: you've got odd spacing between your paragraphs. You've used too many fonts in too many different colours. Stick to 2 fonts at most, and 3 colours at most. And all the paragraph text should be the same size. Your graphics are poor. Sorry, but they are. If you were so successful you'd have made a ton of money and be able to afford a designer. Make sure your text is properly capitalized (not all upper case, or if you ARE going to do that in your headers, do it consistently). Check your grammar ("It could be adjusted upwards soonest" ??). On a similar note, your writing should be conversational (ie, don't use words like "thus"). Best of luck. Edit: As zeekstern says, you have less than 10 seconds to grab the attention of most web surfers. The "above the fold" portion of your website (the bit at the top that users see first) is absolutely vital for that very reason. And the headline? Even more vital. I've seen the power of a good opener myself: I had a split test of two headlines on exactly the same page. One converted at 0.3%, one did 1.3%. Just that one sentence was different. It's *that* important to get the opener right.
Guys, thnx for all your input. I do appreciate it. I had this service under one popular translation service agency's website and i was making good biz but since i decided to go solo by writing my own sales page and going with clickbank, i ve really had a rude awakening. I guess thats baptism of fire! I've taken it all on board.
You have the right idea. Don't let this stop you. Learn from it and take it and run!! Your own product/service is certainly the way to go.. Good luck!!
Your web page is too simple as well as the description. Pictures are not so well that I strongly suggest you to make a new web page.
