Clean 5400+ directories list...updating everyday!

Dear all, I just want to share 5400+ directories list. I updating new directories everyday and more than 99.99% directories are alive. I re-index all the directories once in a every month to keep clean and running directories into my list.

Nice list. How do you update the directory and keep track of which directories are still online and paid and not paid.

 

Actually, I'm just tracking whether a website is active or not. I'm still re-indexing my list. You can see the result by refreshing the page in few seconds interval (http://datadac.com/directory/). It's very hard to keep clean your directories list of you've more than 2000+ or more. So in this situation, we can't click every link to see whether the website is still running on the web or not. Actually there've lots of way to keep clean a directories list. I'm using my own crawler for this work. Everytime when I re-index my list, the crawler match the data of a particular directory with it's previous data and if any changes found, my crawler keep that directory into the re-review area and make disable from the current list (http://datadac.com/directory/). Then I review all the directories which are disabled by the crawler. I review those directories myself because changes of data of a particular directory or a site is normal. If the directory is ok then I active that directory with it's new data and if the reason of the data changes is for domain expired, script mistake, converting website (directory to other) etc., then I delete those directories....that all. Follow the url http://datadac.com/directory/error.asp to see how many directories are getting expired, changed etc. within this 15 days. 15 days ago, these directories were running but now my crawler is separating them from the main directory list.

Grate Directory List. is in this list all Directory are Free Directories?

 

Not all are free but more than 99% are free.
