[WTA] Do I Need VPS?

I have multiple of wordpress blog hosted in Dreamhost shared host. The combined Page view a day is about 7000-8000. I'm using do use some plugins Like All in One Seo Pack, Related Post, Ping Optimizer, Link Cloaker and many more.

My traffic usually grow between 500-1000 each month. And because I have product oriented blog, in November-December usually I got traffic burst, and I predict it will exceed 10.000 PV a day but no more than 15,000

Just few info, this month I use about 57Gb Bandwith, combined from multiple blogs.

The Question is: Do I need a VPS? If yes, what VPS specification I need to handle my traffics.

    Thanks for answering :)

The great thing about VPS is you can start with the smallest package and upgrade as you need more resources. If you need cPanel I would suggest at least a 512RAM package.

Now they don't complain, but I think in few month they will complaining and I don't want they to suspend my site. In christmas, my traffic will usually burst but it's time when I get most profit, and I prefer pay more for VPS rather get my site suspended

    Whoa, thanks for the suggestion!
Actually, what makes me don't take VPS till now is I know NOTHING about Server techie things,, and all people don't suggest me to go to VPS until I know enough about programming and server techie language..

I agree, I wouldn't upgrade until its necessary.

If you do get a VPS in the future, I would suggest you to get cPanel if you don't have much experience. You can also get a Fully Managed VPS, but those are a bit more pricey.

Whoa, thanks for the reply guys :)
Yes, I think I will stick with my shared Hosting for now.. Or Do I need to split into two shared hosting?
People said that when they get more than 10,000, we have to upgrade to VPS,,

You could look at some fully managed VPSes... If you have problems, they fix it.

I've been working with web servers for 4 years, so I get the unmanaged VPSes and save a bundle.

Yes, when I considering for VPS, I also want the managed VPS, because I know nothing about server command. I heard it's worth to pay for Cpanel add on too, if I don't understand about server

Btw, thanks for the advice :)

Not sure about Dreamhost, but I don't think that they care to much about how many page views you get, I think its more about how much CPU and RAM you use.
I have a shared hosting account with Godaddy which I have a few sites hosted on. They are static sites so I guess they don't use much CPU and RAM, one of the sites get only about 500 UV a day and maybe 1,500 page views but my main site gets between 7-8k UV and up to 60,000 page views a day.
I haven't had any complaints from them, but I know that there are only a certain amount of simultaneous connections you can have at any one time (100 I think), so I thought I better get a VPS for the main site.
I couldn't afford to get a managed VPS through them, so I got an unassisted/unmanaged one.
I am like you and know nothing about setting one up and running it, so at the moment it is sitting there not being used..

    Cheers
    James
