I need a header designed for my website that i have redesigned from scratch: gamesnarcade(dot)com the header has to fit the new design so as to merge with it, the new design can be found at: test(dot)gamesnarcade(dot)com I need the header to be original, attractive and catchy (but no cheezy one-liners please) you can use stock photos but original work will be preferred. if you decide to use a stock photo then please make sure its one that's been downloaded minimum possible number of times, please DONOT STEAL images, doing so will immediately destroy your chances of winning. Preferences: I'd prefer the background color to remain white but ofcourse you can try your own thing too.. I really want a mascot in the header (a boy playing a game or anything else), if you design your own mascot i'll give you a bonus along with the prize money. Rest is upto your choice i will be paying the winner of the contest $100 via paypal
sorry.. forgot to mention.... 1000px X 120px the width is fixed but the height is flexible ie. less than or equal to 120px
going in the right direction but it needs to be much more professional looking, use better fonts. too simple.. remember that it's a gaming website so it needs to be attractive... waiting for your entry waiting for your entry
Yup, it's supposed to be simple. It's just an initial design. Any comments about the font? Colors? Size? Maybe you want a picture added somewhere?
well i didn't like the colors, i didn't like the font either... come to think of it, if i just wanted text in the entire header i'd have made it myself and saved a 100 bucks.... please be more creative...
gud to see so many entries.. here are my thoughts on the latest entries... I like the general idea of your header but the images that you have used are really not what i have in mind.. as i mentioned in the first post i need a mascot.. using sonic is out of the question.. so try using stock photos instead and use lesser number of images. good try though.. looking forward to your updates.. this one is too simple.. you gotta give it a more professional look.. I like your entry... though i'd like to suggest some changes and then see how it goess... try using brighter colors, do something better with the font and please please use a mascot (like for example in this case you could use a stock photo of an animated kid sitting with his back rested on the right side of your logo and is playing on his laptop or a cute monster type figure)
the colors are too old style... try brighter colors, better effects and a MASCOT!! one more thing.. i said in the first post itself that no stolen images... the image you've used is the first result shown for "gamepad clipart" in google images.. The whole point of this competition is that i want something original and attractive.. if i had to use some stolen image then i'd have done it myself... i'm not that bad at photoshop..
