Saying this is just a lame thing. You should give facts. I think google cant be beaten in end of times. Saying this is not enough I should give facts and that are google has a big market and a big name in whole world. Those who are inside the market they will remain be for years and years!!!

Google dominate the market for more than 8 years now. They still dominate the market to other medium as well like mobile and OS which direct compete with Microsft and Yahoo. That's why Microsoft start huge investment for Bing, feature Bing search in Facebook , try to merge with Yahoo. It will possible to change in the next few years, as social network is becoming significant growth. It may be change to be more social search, personalize search.

Google has monopoly in the world of search engine.
Really Google is the king and there is no other compitator.
Yahoo can beat but for this yahoo has to do a lot of work in this field.
Msn may be but its position is not so good for this task.
Every thing whcih go to rise , has to fall.
But i am always with google.

Everything can happen. But the day Google will be beaten is in a far-away future for its usefulness, its intelligence, and its continuously improved services, I supposed so.

Thanks for the contribution to the thread everyone.

As people have stated above, Google have been in the Search Engine Business for a very long time now and seem to have most of the bases covered which is... Good.

They are doing their best to expand into other markets where they believe that there could be potential for another Google Owned Product or Service.

Best of luck to them i think.

I can see bing taking over yahoo in a few years but it will take a long time before someone dethrones google.

Google is big enough if they see a threat they buy them out. Except for Yahoo and Microsoft....
They can also hire some of the smartest people in the world to work for them. Google isn't going anywhere for quite some time.

Perhaps deep down, where no one can see, all 3 are owned by one company....
Wouldn't that be some irony? :)

The problem is - your not going to beat google, you may as well give them what they want ;) think of it as working with them instead of trying to beat them.. :)

GM did it to themselves with the use of unions. There was a time when unions were necessary, but those days are long gone. I don't think that a truck is worth $50,000 because some idiot feels he deserves to make $100K a year for putting the wheels on a car during assembly. Union workers, IMO, are poor excuses for a labor force, and are the worst thing for a company. But that's off topic.

There's always potential for a company to fall. You don't know what the next generation of programmers are developing, so to say that in 20 years, there's no chance for Google to become obsolete...that's ignorant.

Again, this is showing ignorance. You have to understand that technology changes every day. While you don't see any sign of a search engine that can beat Google out there now, that doesn't mean that someone isn't developing it now. You need to realize that the company that brings down Google, no one will see it coming.
