I'm not going to pick either side because frankly I've no idea what they're fighting for. I've seen it on the news about the people dying about politicians needing to do more to come to a mutual agreement and about random UN stuff but I've never actually seen what all the fighting is about. *shrugs*

I'm glad, because you are obviously still ignorant about the topic. Let me enlighten you:

Hezbollah (a terrorist organization operating freely in Lebanon) has been attacking, bombing, and firing missiles into Israeli residential areas and planting suicide bombers many, many times to kill civilians. Israel is finally defending themselves by destroying Hezbollah. The real fight was sparked when they kidnapped some Israeli soldiers, so Israel re-kidnapped their prime minister (I think. don't quote me on that.)

    Anyway, that's what they're doing.

Firstly, I'm not sure if you intended it to be offensive, but please don't call me ignorant. Ignorant implies that I really couldn't give a toss, when I actually could I just haven't been given the resources to know what's going on.

Secondly, thanks for your run down of what's happening ^^;; Why are Hezbollah acting the way they are, what's their cause?

i'll try to be more neutral,
i do not know if i can be , because my obvious affinity for lebanese

according to lebanese , hizballa have liberated the lebanese soil during 200_ from israel army.

according to israel , hizballa is a pain in the ass because they often attack the israel soldiers on lebanese/israel borders

and when israel retaliate on attacks on its soldiers by bombing lebanon , hizballah respond by sending rockets to israel.

    about the current situation:
hizballa kidnaped 2 israeli soldiers to exchange them with the lebanese prisoners that were kidnaped or captured by israel during the last years.
israel response was declaring a complete war on lebanon.
    results casualties on both sides
but huge civilian casualties on the lebanese side , what make you start wondering who are the real terrorists...

it's my point of view , i do not intend to offence anyone.

I wont comment because it will stir up many people who have differing opinions. But I do feel really bad for the Lebanese people whos country was rebuilt from the ground up not to many years ago.

Woah, we got Mr. Sensitive over here... ignorant simply means uninformed or misinformed. It's not an offensive term in this manner.

Their cause is that they're terrorists.

Ignorant means you have the ability to know something, but purposely go out of your way to ignore it.

All terrosists have a cause, what would be the point in killing pointlessly?

Actually it doesn't. The poster was correct that it is simply not knowing and when used correctly is not an insult.

    Ignorant

Go Israel!! How would we react if a neighboring city was lobbing thousands of missiles? If Israel doesn't take care of Hezbo itself no one else will.

Recently Israel blowed up 4 bridges in northern Beirut. Is that supposed to be hezbollah infrastructure, or is it civillian infrastructure?

I guess Ohlmert isn't a man enough to run a successfull war campaign such as Bush&Cheney&Rumsfeldt in Afganistan&Iraq. Israel has lots to learn from the Bush administration(and mayby hezbollah too).
