Writing articles and blog posts yourself = high quality but time consuming Using an article writing service = quick and easy, but often very low quality Does it matter?
Well dear, I feel only quality work helps you earn long term regular buyers. Moreover, you can ask your clients to refer you to their friends for if your quality is something they can vouch for...
If you are intending on attracting a readership and/or possibly selling a product, then quality definitely matters. If I visit a site and notice that the articles or blog posts are riddled with grammatical errors, spelling issues or other things that affect readability, I don't spend more than 2 seconds on that page before I go elsewhere.
Yeah, the quality really does matter. The content isn't just for Google, you have to think about your readers too. If you give them boring bad content, they won't come back and they certainly won't buy. If the writing's good, they're more likely to come back, buy or even subscribe. Not all article writing services offer bad writing. It's definitely possible to outsource high quality writing. It'll cost a little more, but you'll get real results.
I totally agree. You should look at the long term goals of your blog, site or project. Without the readability factor you can be doomed to fail in many cases. I always make sure to use high quality at the expense of the time being spent.
To me quality is the most important thing when it comes to writing. It is all very well getting articles etc... cheaply and quickly but if the quality is poor then what is the point?
Quality is definitely important. If you get poorly-written articles back from a writer, you either 1) post them as-is and risk making a very bad impression on your readers (and many people do notice errors in spelling and grammar); 2) re-write them yourself, delaying the launch of your site and taking time away from other tasks that need to be completed; or 3) hire another writer to fix what the first writer did, costing you more time and money. I wish more people would see that price should not be the deciding factor in who you choose as a writer. It will cost you more in lost customers and wasted time to hire a cheaper writer that delivers low quality work than it would to just pay a little more up front to an experienced writer with verifiable credentials.
Echoing what everyone else has said, quality really does matter. The best way to prove it to yourself (if you're still not convinced by people who obviously have a vested interest in people choosing quality writers!) is to dip your toes in the water. Get a low-budget, paint-by-numbers, dull as dishwater article, and see what response it gets. Then rinse and repeat with a well-crafted, professionally written article. Let us know how you get on!
ADNattan makes an excellent point. If you don't believe that quality is important (I am using "you" as the impersonal you, not directing it at the OP), why not compare the performance of a cheap, poorly-written piece with a professionally-written article? Affiliate marketers test their headlines and sales copy all the time to see which pieces bring in more sales. You could do the same with articles/content - see which one brings in more traffic, e-zine subscribers, sales, etc.
No compromise on web content quality. It is only quality content that will drive traffic to your website. Search engine will find you when you write quality content for your blog, articles, websites. Visitors will become your customers only then, so SEO friendly, quality content is must.
And quality is especially important if you are building a reputation for yourself. You definitely wouldn't want "low quality" associated with your name or brand. Not to mention... generally articles that are written with focus converts WAY better than lower quality ones that are churned out. Just my two cents.
I would think that quality should be your no. 1 priority unless you're trying to make those hit-and-run MFA sites. And they suck.
Here's the ultimate question---why are you asking this? What's the motivation for being tempted to buy the low quality articles? There seems to be a misunderstanding about how people make money on the Internet with blogs and content sites--I don't want to sound mean-spirited here, but if you're asking that question you don't really understand why some websites make money on the Internet and why others--so many others--do not. the key to understanding this is remembering that the Internet is meant for humans to read, not Google.
Obviously people won't appreciate poorly written articles. You certainly need professional writing whether done by a good service or yourself.
Two places you can use poor work: * Filler that's designed to fluff a site up for SEM, but not available for visitors to read. * A site you're trying to get people to leave. i.e. Adsense sites If you want people to stay and read, buy, or subscribe to your site, you'll need quality.
Yes. It matters. You must have a good command of grammar. Nobody wants bad articles. It makes websites and publications look really bad.
Yes, it absolutely matters.. Who would want to read an article which is poorly written.. Just by starting at the first paragraph, the readers would surely lose interest so much so that they would no longer go back to your website.. You may be able to write so many articles but you just wasted your time because no one is reading them.. I prefer spending some time writing quality articles which are read and commented to by a lot of viewers rather than having lots of articles which are useless..
