Are Rapidshare clone site profitable? whats the best way to monetize this sites? Pop Unders? Or premium account payments? any people here had success with them? i only plan of a small one maybe a couple of thousands of traffic not dreaming of something really big out of it.. A Decent buck and im happy..
It depends on how you market the site. I know the file hosting market is pretty saturated but if done properly you still have a pretty high chance to gain traffic. It's really word of mouth if you don't have a big advertising budget to promote your site.

I think that the idea could be quite profitable if you can market it to people... But with like mediafire and a few other sites that have file hosting for free, it may be kinda difficult
