Im currently using 19"wide LCD monitor on LG..

When i went shop, i found this one better than the others. i went to buy 21" , but i bought this which will perform well....

I prefer this itself. My model is : FLATRON W1942S

I preferred this because it seems to be nice for watching movies. And also cheap!

I have the NEC opticlear Multisync 90GX. It has been rated to be one of the best. The NEC opticlear series has been consistently rated to be one of the best all around monitors for a few years now. Hope this helps.

A good LCD monitor to watch movies should support HDCP HDMI, high contrast ratio more than 10000:1 and max response time less than 5ms. I think Samsung, LG etc. build monitor like this but my fav still AOC 2230Fh

    Hope this help

As mentioned in the post before this one there are some basic features that you want to make sure you will have. the brand and model I suggested (NEC Opticlear) has all the featured you would need. But what needs to be remembered is that beyond the basic features and all, a good bit of it has to do with personal preference and what you like.

I say this is the best bang for the buck Samsung LCD/TV the T260HD it has a build in tuner. It has a 26" of goodness and it has a dual HDMI and VGA and other various connection at the back. You can check out the review of the Samsung T260HD

I had two dell 22" E228WFP monitors for almost an year now, quite happy with them. I'm usually biased against dell products because of a past laptop experience with them. BUT these monitors have never let me down... ordering process was okay too. :)

Before you buy any LCD MOnitor ................. Check its angle view also ( by the side 60% ). Check its around 60% Angle view which one displaying the best view of color full Image ......... that one is best. I'm using Samsung and Polycom 21" wide screen LCD monitors and quite happy with these.
