Hi, I've been spending alot of my spare time developing my website http://www.pure-australia.co.uk. I was wondering at this point if anyone can give me any feedback/pointers on good areas or things that still need work! (design/link building etc) I am pretty thick skinned so be honest. i like the design and layout. It's easy to navigate and not to overwhelming like some information sites can be. The only crit I'd say is the scrolling information on the left at the bottom of the column is a little hard to see - maybe make the window a little larger?

hi frankcow, probably not enough! the site has been there about a year, but I have only just uploaded the new site about 3 weeks ago. Initially I spent alot of time signing up to free directories, but reading around I don't think they carry much weight anymore! I have contacted some universities and colleges and a few other travel sites for links. Is this one of the areas you think needs improving?
your site has great design and seo is good. just take links from higher pagerank sites and rich your content. you must have at least 300-400 good optimized pages.
absolutely besides obvious directories and travel sites, look for any sites related to any content on your site with a decent PR, and ask for a link exchange
I like the layout, how about adding a sitemap or navigation bar. Since you know information for a country is huge, a site bar or navigation bar it can help people to navigate faster and easier. Adding a search for your site can also help.
Hi JC007, I would love to have the chance to add so much more to this site!! It is very difficult to get the time to do everything. I am currently working in a job full time, totally unrelated to the site, and one that I am not that fond of, but I have to pay the bills! I am spending most evenings and any spare time that I get trying to improve traffic, so eventually I can continue working on the site full time. It is something that I am very passionate about but I have to plan my time and what I do very carefully. Thanks again everyone, my ego is steadily growing so if anyone has any criticisms bring them on!!
Nice site! That bright pink is a bit hard on the eyes, or maybe i just need to give my eyes a rest from the computer.
The site has a nice look and is simple to navigate. The pink is different but it works nice for your site!
