ArticleRanks Review - Awesome 1-Way Linking System!

I was one of the late Beta testers on ArticleRanks.com (No Affiliate link)

I just want to say out of my own will that this system is truly amazing. The site is still fairly small but the sheer functions on the site and growing number of distributions I personally believe will make this site the number one SEO linking tool.

I mean why not? Its totally ethical and whitehat your simply writing content that gets distributed on numerous sites



As you can see from my accounts screenshot in a few days my article has been drip fed onto ontopic sites and it continues to do so, the best thing is that this article is going to constantly get distributed.

I think its too early to affect my search rankings yet but it definatley looks amazing

Hi I am one of the ownesr of this site. Firstly we are nothing like Free Traffic System. Please test out the system before you say anything.

FTS is a pyramid scheme that adds links onto articles. Also have you seen the quality of the sites in FTS?

Not only do we have spam protection measures in place, but we also have assisted content writers, ability to add any site with a remote publishing API not like FTS who only allow wordpress. And so much more such as innovative geographic targeting, to get links on certain countries etc.

And our articles get drip fed onto blogs/sites and does not limit one article to only 30 blogs. An article will be constantly drip fed into the network

Sorry to sound so blunt but we have been developing this site since late 2008 before FTS was even released, and a lot of effort has gone into it, to help both us, article marketers and webmasters.

Secondly @allthegoodnamesweretaken, PM me with the username of your account as a 10 day old article should have a few more distributions then that depending on which category it was submitted too and how much it has been spun

 

Just a few questions, so that everyone will know more about your site:

1. Is it free sign ups?
2. How many links do you allow in the body? how bout in the resource box?
3. Are you dofollow? do you have plans in changing to nofollow in the future?

 

Interested in this service & have just signed up, but a couple of questions:
* If I want to submit/distribute articles, is it completely free?
* What kind of websites do you distribute to (ie, what's their typical PR?)
* For one (very well-written) real estate article, how many websites do you think it would go on approximately?

 

Hi in answer to your questions

1. Yes
2. 3 links in the body which are spinnable. They are not distributed to article directories but real peoples sites
3. I dont understand this is not an article directory, its a new service which distributes articles onto real peoples sites.

These are related to jeepsters question. There are 3 kinds of membership
1) The FREE way. Add your sites to the system and earn credits for each article that gets published on your site, which can then be exhanged to allow you to publish articles.
2) Buy individual credits, this is great if you are only planning to use the system say once a month
3) Upgrade your account to monthly subscription, pay a small fee and have unlimited publishing access.

The system distributes to websites that users have added to receive content for. Most of them are PR1 and above because users do not earn credits for adding new sites to the system, they have to have some power.

Thirdly if the article is 90% spun then it should get distributed on all the sites in that category apart from the ones that manually check them. But the best thing is, is that the article continues to get distributed when new sites are added without you doing anything

I tried FTS for almost 2 months, did not see any result yet. Check from google, but unable to find the mentioned blog name. I will try this and see the out come.

Our site is growing by the day

We have just added a new tags system, so anysites that are plugged into the network will now receive only the content they specify, making this an even better tool

As a FTS user, I am intrigued by this system. I don't want to say anything bad about FTS, but I have removed their author account and content from my blog.

I see the A.R. website needs improvement, i.e. grammar is not perfect and the "mapping screen" is a bit confusing at first glance, but it looks solid for being a Beta and I look forward to start using it today.

As long as the fellow A.R. authors pick the correct categories and don't spam my blog with junk, I will be happy to accept. The purpose of my blog in the first place, was to offer easy to understand information on online marketing and various methods for getting free traffic, SEO etc.

This will not replace article directories completely, at least not yet. However, it accompanies your submission efforts, and together they can make a powerful set of tools for article writers. Lots of juicy back-links waiting for you to pick it up and use. Thanks for sharing.

Just give it some time, it will be posted in several other sites. The first time I posted an article to the FTS network, I logged in a couple of hours later only to see that it had been posted to no more than two blogs! However, a few days later the list had grown significantly and was now showing numerous additional blogs.

It just takes some time, but it will happen. In other words: Some patience might be required, but if this works better than FTS, then it most certainly is worth your effort.

 

Interesting. I use FTS as well but I belive too early to give a report card on results.

There is one thing I don't care for when using FTS and that is being able to check on your links. For example, I can go to my FTS stat page and it tells me my article was posted at (blog name which doesn't help since the blog name may not relate to the URL) on a certain date. There is no link in my stats to the publisher of my article. When I try to find it through yahoo, google, etc. I'm not successful. I emailed FTS about why they did not publish a link and their answer wasn't very helpful. Maybe it takes some time before those articles are indexed. Is a month long enough time for them to be indexed and start showing up in search engines? If so, I can't find.

Do you publish the link to the articles that are published or is there a way to verify if your link is on the site and not being removed?

 

Its funny you are so defensive, I guess I would be too if I made an exact clone of the idea and layout of another service. (AMA)


That is not to say its a bad service, im sure when its bigger it will work well, its kinda already proven concept

 

i just tried your site. Not very helpful. It really is hard to understand if you are using it for free or have to pay. Very poor instructions.....where do you put your links.

Sorry to say, your site has a long way to go before it is ready for prime time. After submitting an artlcle I had more questions than answers. If it is not laid out well with good instructions, don't expect your users to take the time to tell you what to do. FTS has you beat hands down when it comes to instructions, how to publish links, etc. Do a good video like FTS or provide better examples.

Hi Steveeyes thanks for your thoughts everyone is allowed there own opinion and yes I know we dont have that many tutorials in place yet and thats simply because the system is still in beta and we are working hard on fixing any glitches. As for it has a long way to go until prime time I think you are totally wrong

Ok I am not going to say anything bad about FTS but our system is far more superior and so is the site quality. What other service allows you do to the following?

- Host your article on specific geographic sites, great if your targetting a regional search engine
- Content assiter which helps you rewrite your article with a few clicks
- Ability to enter categories and tags to receive highly targetted content
- Gradual distribution to avoid penalties which constantly gets distributed, not like FTS which limits to 40 blogs max.
- Full Spam control in place

Thanks digiboyz for the response. In time I will visit your site again and see if there are some improvements. One thing, it needs to be clear cut on how to submit your links with keyword anchor text into an article. Also the whole thing with credit is really confusing. You say you are free, but the whole credit thing seems to contradict your statements. I'm sure it is because I don't understand it, but there needs to be clear cut separation beween what you are offering as free v.s. paid. But then again, maybe good instructions will help.

I actucally wrote an article, submitted it and after I submitted it I said to my self...wait "what about my links -- I don't recall putting any in nor being asked to do so". It was not clear how to do it.

I know you are going to hate this remark, but you are going to have to deal with the familiarity of FTS for most webmasters. Once they understand how one system works, there is a tendency to compare it with all others. FTS distinguishes very clearly from FREE v.s. Paid...distinguishes very clearly how to submit links with keyword anchor text, very clearly the submission process, etc...Yours does not. Hopefully you will take a look at your process and clarify how things are done as does FTS.

Hi to submit anchor text you simply highlight your keyword and press the link button (Just as you would in this forum). Thats how it always works, wordpress deploy the same thing too.

I actually think the FTS one is very confusing.

We are working on getting tutorials in place.

I do not personally think that the credits system is confusing, you can either add a site to earn credits, buy credits or upgrade to monthly for unlimited distributions.

Again I take your things into consideration and tutorials are being put into place. Plus note we are not limited to only allowing Wordpress based sites like FTS instead your articles get distributed onto all platforms.

Do you not think it will look a bit funny if an engineer analysed your links and all of your links were coming from Wordpress based sites?
