Hello All, After several months of Hard Work, I have finally managed to creep up the Google Search Rankings for the phrase "FFMPEG Reseller" and have been holding strong in the top 1-3 slots. My current problem is that there are forums (such as FreeWebSpace, WebHostingTalk, WebMasterPeers and of course DP) knock me down from #1. Is there any way I can get back up to #1?
Serps always change, my guess is keep building backlinks, and this is the only way to beat other sites.
Yeah, your site is showing up at #1. Like PD said, you should keep on building backlinks as your competitors are very well established.
I just checked and you are No. 1, to get better results you can SEO another page for same kw and get double listing.
I don't think being #1 is that great. People will click on results 3-5 more often than the first. Especially when there's a sponsored ad up there.
It is really depends, but personally i will say that, as long as in the first page, and the position is not that low (2nd / 3rd from last), then is consider great for me.
Actually, #1 normally get's most of the traffic. I remember reading the statistics in some sort of report, I think it was something like #1 gets approximately 70% of the traffic...
Well thats great... Keep up the good work. you could get links from other sites which are related to boost serp's (try building pages on squidoo or hubpage so that you can leverage their power)
Of course, #1 will get the more traffic than #4, 5..So, we should target on #1. But again, personally, i will be all right if there is rank on 3-6 position. But of course, must try the best to make it #1.
Keep building links. Of the competitor sites you list at least one will let you create sig links pointing back to your site. Such links may not be very powerful but I'd take the opportunity to build some.
Its not true....I can assure #1 can get at least double than #2.. 10 time more than #3, 4 etc.. ITs by my experiance.. Also if the keyword in #1 there will be many supporting keywords from the page and related to the keyword gives traffic
But what is the point in ranking higher for the keyword which have monthly search volume in tune of 300.
As long as if you have great content and refresh it every 3 or 4 days, and have great targetted keyword, then it is good to rank top on page 1.
