The runs scored by england against australia in first test of ashes series 2009, the defeat of australia in second test, shows the reign of australia in cricket is getting over. In absence of austrlia's ace player after retirement has laft a void in team and till new players are nurtured, we have to learn seeing such performance in near upcoming series too.

freddie showed what is he capable of and how important he is to england...england played superbly as a team and flintoff ,swann were at top of their game ...now they have taken 1-0 lead and have got momentum to their side..australian bowling looked pathetic in the match...i think they should bring back stuart clarke in place of out of from johnson...

I think this win will increase their confidence and England will try to win next test to ensure that they can't lost Ashes! I think Australia is going down like happened with West Indies in 1980-1990.

England have to regain the ashes so they have to win 1 match more than the Aussies. A draw will keep the Ashes with Australia..... so no point drawing the series

True! The English men should not get carried away with this win but will have to play better to live up to fans' expectations! Luck too should prevail on the English to dump the Australia!

    Good luck guys!:)

with the next test just a few days away i think england would go in as favorites...but you cannot rule out aussies as they would be eager to come back and make a strong statement... mitchell johnson has to perform if aussies want do well because he is the strike bowler...

I think they will not comeback as we people are thinking. England is too strong at the moment and with a win their confidence is also high at the moment!

Yes but I think it's time to see some hot reaction from CA as Aussi lost in South Africa and now it seems to be here too which surly hurts them.
