To Rank High in Searh Engine=> Keyword is the King

There are lots of ways to make your site rank high in search engine, but for me, keyword is the very important one as i said, it is the King!

 

ROFLMAO Seriously? Is this supposed to be an "enlightening" post, some big revalation, or a joke? I guess you're talking about the <meta name="keywords"> element? lol

 

Canonical, you were hilarious , and also true. I was wonderring the same thing, I clicked your post because I think someone has something to say when he posts about keywords and stuff .... well , it seems I'm wrong , "My bad".

 

True the keywords meta tag is not useful (on Google anyway), but the smart usage of keywords onsite and in link anchor text is extremely important.

 

I'm agree with you JoinStation. And including LSI in your post/article can also rank higher in multiple keywords phrases. Sometimes I can rank first page for 10 different keyword phrases with one article post. But the things is to create post/article with relevant keywords needs some study.

 

Keyword + Unique & High Quality Contents ==> KING

 

As guniwan said, Content play a big factor in SERP. That's why for many cases, wikipedia pages are in the top.

Ya, to have a content, you have to spend some time. Also, do not copy and paste, it is not 'fresh' anymore and would be banned for most of the search engine.

How to bring your website in top 10?

1st- You have to know, it is more important in keyword, not in domain name.

2nd- People search is based on their needs, problems and etc..therefore, they will use keywords to search rather than use your domain name.

It shows domain name is less important here.

Another tips to share are:
3 types of Keywords:-

1. Seed Keywords (1-2 words)
2. Broad Keywords (2-3)
3.Buying Keywords. (3 +words)

Buying keywords is combined 3 or more words.
Any industry you try to be in, must have at least 5 Buying Keywords.
It will help you in your ranking page.

in my case, i'll never start any new site if i can't find about 30 good keywords which have high number of searches and less competition in new niche.

I like my sites being search by search engine so I always spend so much time on keyword study..things that suppose not to ...always make me behind schedule to set up sites..can somebody shares how to be more effective on keyword study..?

From the basic when we target even in SEO or SEM the basic is to give to show the results with respect to keywords..In SEO the ranking in SERP..
In SEM the exact/broad/phrase match of the particular keyword..From this itself we concludes the keyword acts as the buiding block where the total pyramid of SEO or SEM stands..
Now the content-"we prose or write intentionaly with respect to keyword only"
Linking-"do always we care for anchor tag"..That should be the keyword..
So i believe the keyword is the king in total process!!!

But be sure...All the process From strategy building to SEO/SEM is to be given with higher priority is to get the king in results!!!!!
So each process is king...

 

Selection of keyword is one of the major factor in ranking but other things are also equally important

 

yaa keyword is the main part of SEO bcz if you do all SEO techniques great but your keyword suggestion is not good so you get ranking but not traffic and leads
