joomla problem after installetion

    hi,
    I have installed joomla but i have a problem, when we login and take any action and apply. i find a massage "An Error has occurred! Unable to open configuration.php file to write!" Please solve it.

    Hi there. It sounds like you have a permission error on your configuration. If you haven't already done so, FTP to your server and set the correct write permissions for your configuration file. You can look up UNIX permission codes (i.e., 755, 777, etc.). I forget offhand what the lowest write permission is for Joomla, so please check your Joomla documentation. That should fix your problem. :)

    I believe certain folders have to be 757 or 777 for it to write i could be wrong. If you go to the help section in joomla admin if you can get that far it will tell you what is writable. If not then check to see what the config file has to be set too.
