Are you guys kidding me? ESCROW.COM for large transactions folks.

It cost around $180 or so the last time I did a $3,500 website deal and it was flawless.

In my opinion it is the ONLY way to do a secure large deal like this over the internet.

Also write a contract on top of using escrow!!

I am sorry for the people who got scammed; Use escrow in the future and it won't happen again!

escrow is no good, escrows is only xfer domain, nothing else so if you buying a business escrow can't help you

Upon my complain to Moneybooker, Miguel claimed that I've agreed to start a new site instead of taking no-bot.com, and still want to pay him!
He expects someone to believe in this? What a foolish liar!

Since he's banned here, he's now trying to continue his tricks on another forum:

    1) Selling a domain that he does not own for $x,xxx here.
Luckily he got caught by the mods and thread closed.

    2) Selling a service guaranteed to increase PR of your site here, OR YOUR MONEY BACK !
    What a big joke!

You know when they say it sounds too good to be true, it normally is. I've been operating my own site for years now, never an affiliate program but rather a service which requires me to meet my clients. I've been hesitant to purchase a few sites simply because of people like this. Can anyone tell me if majority of the sites on dp claiming to be making back bucks, actually do? the seem like great investments and I don't know about anyone else but i work hard for my money to have someone take it away with a scam.

Be smart, use escrow service company for all transaction over $300.00 and paid the fee for the service.

Im NOT a scammer. I sent the $3500 back to iRetribute and he DIDN´T return the website, saying it was just a compensation. Now he doesnt respond to be on MSN either. Concerning siteman, i sent him 80% of the money and days later moneybookers made a chargeback of his payment, so he made a payment of $1000, i refunded around $800 and days later a chargeback of $1000, that is a loss of $800 from my pocket!! He is not responding to me on MSN too.

I have DP!!! They dont remove my personal details, and both iRetribute and siteman promised to remove them!! I contacted DP admins and they say they will only remove with legal action, and thats what i will do if they dont remove it!!

I have full proof of everything, you can contact me at migberto@hotmail.com for any details.

Thanks, and please help =( this is NOT FAIR!!

Not surprised that he was a con-man. Nobody of sane mind sells a site which is making $1500 per month. And when asked why he wanted to sell, he just said "I want to relax from online business." LOL!!!
Uhhhh.....ok! I'm sure it's very frustrating seeing $1500 in your bank account every month.
I smelled BS as soon as I read his sales pitch. Hopefully he gets caught and castrated. Ok....maybe that's going too far. He should do community service though until he pays off all the people he's cheated.

Interesting how Miguel claims that his DP ID has not been erased, yet he is using a new one to make this post.

Just wanted to clear a few things up for you guys here.
Miguel sold us a site knowing it would no longer be able to offer a service, and then tried to sell the same site to Siteman, took his money and ran.
He took $3,500 from us and we demanded it back as it was in breach of a contract he signed (albeit using false details) stating that the site had to make the estimated sales per month otherwise X% of the sale would be refunded.
It took us months to finally get any sort of compensation. By this point, we had customers (who Miguel knew would not get any service when he sold us the site) demanding refunds.
    As a result, the money we claimed back from Miguel was used as compensation for the following things;
    1. Breach of Contract
    2. Using fraudulent information to sign contacts and pass off false details
    3. Knowingly sold the same website to two people
    4. Knowingly sold the website with the understanding that it would become unusable within weeks of the sale.

Fortunately, we had a Private Investigator willing to offer his services to track down Miguel, and this is the only reason we got any money back.
The reason I do not reply to Miguel anymore is simply, I have no interest in listening to what he had to say as he made us go through weeks of stress and worry.

Finally, the reason his personal details have not been removed is because I, nor DigitalPoint have any obligation to Miguel, who has been banned from these forums. They are left their to warn anyone else of his devious and disgraceful business tactics (if you can call them that).
This website cost us a lot of time, money and effort. It also brought our reputation under fire. Fortunately, we were able to resolve the matter with our customers.

If anyone would like further information, please don't hesitate to PM.
