Hi, I'm trying to locate the url of a stream, the stream is on the following page: http://kube.totalkiss.com/ If you look at the source you will see: <p><a href="javascript:parent.listenAgain('kisskube/kissauto/06-1730-1800-192.mp3','The KISS Tribute Mix',2292);" onclick="switchPlayer('radio');">Listen Again</a></p> HTML: I thought the following should work: http://kube.totalkiss.com/kisskube/kissauto/06-1730-1800-192.mp3 But it doesn't so I'm guessing their is some sort of javascript url change. Thanks for the help.
if you get a plugin for firefox called live httpd headers you can get accurate data on where the files your downloading are actually coming from.
well the site doesn't actually allow me in, only UK ip addresses. i assume you're UK so if it still isn't working then maybe the path in the javascript isn't directly under the root, it's probably further down some other path, e.g. 'kisskube/kissauto/06-1730-1800-192.mp3' could be somewhere such as http://kube.totalkiss.com/kisskube/sub/path/kissauto/06-1730-1800-192.mp3
Hi I'm trying to do the exact same thing. I want to be able to add the stream to me SqueezeBox so that I can 'listen again' through the hifi. I'm no java-monkey, but it looks like there is a variable called "javascript: parent.listenAgain" that is likely to be a top level domain/host server thing. I've looked at the source and I can't find a reference to it. I also tried putting kube. www. and media. prior to totalkiss.com without success. I've actually emailed the station to see if they can gave me the full path to the file. If I get a reply I'll post here. Rgds Phil
Well paths are relative when they load them like that so the pasted url may only work after the folder you're actually viewing on (if it started with a / then it would be at the root)
