How to ask for 1st BackLink?

    I just started my first website. I'm getting all the content setup and I wondering how should I ask people for my first backlink? My understanding is I should let google find my website by a backlink and not submit to them. Do I just go to google and search for people with my keywords and send them like a generic e-mail begging for a backlink?

    Social Bookmarking /check socialmarker.com/ is the easiest form of getting backlinks. Dofollow blogs are hard to find. You are better off going to forums with relevant topic and using services like Yahoo Answers to answer questions about your website topic

    I have started by asking/begging for links. I didn't think it was out of fashion. Most of them out there have done it too.

    Search these forums for link development or link building. You'll find lots of alternatives to begging. :)

    for yahoo answers do I have to find ones that are not Resolved Questions? or will those work too?

    Resolved questions are closed and you can't reply.

    Also use article marketing, lens creation, social bookmarking etc.

    Comment other blogs that usually work also many sites have contact forms or chat box with dofollow link.
