My wordpress blogs are getting huge traffic, and I was looking for wordpress plugins that can help reduce the load, I read some good reviews about it, are there any members who use this plugin?

    Any reviews on this?

I could never get it to work correctly. It always gives me errors, so I don't even mess with it anymore.

I once tried using it but was not able to make it work correctly. Since then, I've never tried it again.

If you can find good reviews about it on blogging related blogs then give it a try.

I use it and works fine with the latest version of wordpress. Perhaps the mod does not work good with certain mods you have?

Have you tried to contact the creator of the mod to see how you two can get it to work correctly for your current blog?

Actually i just checked my plugins and i have "WP-Cache" and not "Wp-Super Cache"

I forgot there is more then one mod out there for this. It's been a few weeks since i searched the wordpress plugin database for mods but the one i have now works great. The super cache mod i just checked out has more options but i'm not going to use it since what i have now works fine.

Oh you are right, there are many plugins for this reason. But what I have noticed is more people use WP Super Cache, But I guess it's not compatible with the latest 2.8.2

I only use what works with the current wordpress version i am using. The mod creators don't always update all there mods to work with the latest version. They are free mods and well, i just use what works and deal with it. Maybe a coder on here can modify it for you or create one to work for you. This just a idea, but yes there lot's of cache mods out there.

i use super cache. works fine. you can manually cache specific pages which is good if you know a certain page is getting heavily dugg or stumbled or whatever.

I installed it and didn't mess with the settings but set it to half on. My blog don't get that many visitors since its only a few blogs old. My oldest blog use to maintain 9,000 visits a month with no problem until I stop promoting it.

I recommend you backup your blog then install the plugin. That way if anything goes wrong you can fix it.

Getting ready for a big launch but my first step was to move over to a litespeed server. Generally this helps greatly even with non wordpress related load. If i find I need even more juice I may use it.

I use this mod and I lost some sponsors/advertisers over it. They don't understand that it takes time for the page to update. I don't like how super-cache works in IE either. It takes forever to update. I'd rather have my site in real time, but hostgator shuts my site off if I don't have super-cache running. I'm thinking about changing servers so I don't have to use super-cache anymore.
