This movie has the MOST ridiculous ENDING to it...it leads up to a stage where the audience THINKS there is going to be revenge or a HUGE battle..but then it just ends...what a crap ending was really disappointed yesterday when I watched it!
Obviosly you haven't read the books, I'd give them a flick through before passing judgement. It was setting the scene for the last film, which is going to be absolutely fantastic
I think the seventh movie should be given to someone better to direct. They say that they want to have an all British cast and crew but while the actors are cool the scripting and drection has something wrong with it. Give it to someone like Speilberg or Peter Jackson.
I really hated the ENDING reading the BOOK OR NOT...a movie SHOULD depend on a PERSON reading a book...because most of the times they are blatently different from the books. I wanted each movie to move on one step after another but this one got stuck half way through a "step" and just left everyone hanging now its going to put me off the seventh one like Im going to wait for probz a year for the next one..and then ima get pissed and not watch it..wel thats me !
ya ending was unexpected. i was thinking that the end will be as it was the much awaited movie. but it really dis disappointed.
I thought the movie was good but not great. It felt like nothing really happened. They just trying to build it up I guess. (I have not read the book). A good friend of mine said that they are actually going to make 2 new movies ie (hp7 + hp8) which doesnt make sense as there is only 1 book left. The next movie better be awesome!
lol...you guys crack me up. You really should read the books. There will be 2 more movies (both for the last book). You should read them so you understand why the things that are happening are happening
It does make sense, as there is so much content in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, they cannot possibly fit it into one film. If I were you, I'd be pleased they are splitting it into two films. If they'd done the same for The Half-Blood Prince, I'm sure you would all be content with the films. They simply didn't have time to include the best parts of the book.
Ok say for example there were no books..just forget them...they should direct the movie in a way so people understand how its going to flow...YOU CANNOT depend on a BOOK to know whats happening in a film..not everyone is a book reader..
If they had cut out the travelling part in the middle it would fit into one film. Anyway, half blood prince was quite a good movie. They captured most of the book and sometimes a little more (funny romatic scenes), however what I've missed was the Voldemort's family history (the flashbacks) and emphasis on half blood prince (why is it called like that when there's very little about it). And atleast a minor battle scene at the end wouldn't hurt.
Yea they did miss out a lot of key events, but they always do when making films from books And all the people complaining about "oh it just ended really abruptly", what about Lord of the Rings, the first 2 films pretty much just stopped, if you hadn't read the books you had no idea the ending was coming heh.
Yeah. You're right. I sometimes wonder why these hollywood people need to keep their conventional ''1.5/2 hours'' running time, when they can extend it half an hour more and include almost everything that is described in the book INSTEAD of just dumping half a dozen important chapters off the movie
