Well, it depends, we can use any music in any video. Other videos also have music which is quite famous, but it is just that is isnt so popular. And if youtube had a problem, they would have blocked it, there and then.
I'm not worried about youtube, I'm worried about the clients you make these videos for.. they can get in salt-waters and its not impossible. just my 2 cents
No, they will not get into soup , and it is 100 percent insured, because you can use any music until unless it is not copyrighted worldwide. and the music has to be more than a certain amount of time, then only one can file a copyright case. So as far as my research goes, no client of mine can get into "SALT-WATERS". And as far as nosy parkers like you who are concerned should stay away from others thread and not poke around until unless you mean business. Please ignore "d3sign3r" as his allegations are baseless.

if you use my music with your logo, I can suit you, as simple as that...no matter where the song is registered..now, if you buy a royalty free song thats another deal... but I could flag a video with my work (music, pictures, etc) and youtube must take it down in 48hs.. otherwise I could initiate legal actions against youtube, you and your client...
chbagan has done a substantial amount of video production for me and I have NEVER had a problem. The work is of the utmost quality and he does not stop editing to i am completely satisfied. I have refused to work with others that offer cheaper prices because I doubt that they can match the quality of service and product. also, this guy is formally educated and continues to educate himself in the arena of video production

I do not deny that the music is lifted, and i agree to the fact. But then that piece of music has been approved by my client and he also knows the source of the music. And if you are talking about background score then quite a huge amount of videos on youtube have bits and pieces of music from so many bands, movies and albums all over the world. Also, before videos are made public on youtube they are checked and if the music has some problem, then it is replaced by youtube itself. So, it hasn't caused my clients any problem, as 'Wrongfully Convicted' a client of mine has also said.
Well, if that is the case then quite a huge number of videos on youtube should be pulled down, because quite a huge number of videos violate the copyright laws in someway or the other. Be it images, logos, background score, they must be copyrighted in some part of the world, so they all should be pulled down. And as far as my work is concerned, my clients are satisfied and i can assure them of no problem at all. And one of my clients 'Wrongfully convicted' has given his testimonial on this.
