muqtada123, Position at google local SERP-s and bing is not much different. But there is very much difference between bing and google.com international. I think it’s due to backlinks.
As a long time computer user Bing has won me over in one way and I will be using it. the image search part of their engine is way better than Google. Also when I want to do a broad search with multiple related ideas I will use Bing. Their related search technology is quite good. Besides that Google is still my main search site.
Bing is terrible! I have over 100 sites of which only 2 are indexed in bing. All indexed in very other single search engine.
Unfortunately most people do not rank a search engine based on whether your site is indexed. My main domain is down before a new launch and yet Bing has indexed my wordpress demo blogs so maybe there is a problem there.
Ok let's face it people there is no comparison at this point, but I do think with time there will be a fierce competition between Bing and other major Search Engines if for no other reason than the fact that MS does have and like to spend tons of money in advertising so they will stop at nothing more than likely to be competitive.
A good point. We'll know it is popular if people start to use the term "Bing it" in a sentence in the same way that they now use "Google it".
Sure go to bing and search for Jackson five on the left next to the search results theres a column with lyrics (for their songs) , their biography. Under that are related searches with Marlon jackson and Randy jacskon and Michale jackson songs. all searches related to the search results being displayed. Without having to type in any more queries you can search all through a subject. nice when you have a broad search and can't even think of the different things to search for. Doesn't appear or all searches but quite a few. guess that will grow with time.
Thanks. It is coming back to me now. I do like the related search feature and I think their interface does a good job of presenting it. I can see this being less useful for experienced users (like us webmasters) but novice users may really like the feature when they are not as skilled at searching.
Really silly to be spamming the boards where if you took some time to read you would realize that with a little time you could put it in your signature link with no questions asked and no prospects of being banned.
I like the Bing search engine design and cool and attractive domain name. Search results are worst than Google's for me.
I'm pretty experienced and there are a few times when I don't get exactly what I am looking for I have to do what I would call related searches. Not saying I am going to replace Google with Bing any time soon but I have always found value in a second search engine.
I do have noticed an increase in traffic from Bing, if compared to combine traffic that came from MSN and Live. But this traffic is still not as good as the amount of traffic that comes from Google. Google is dominating the SE world and I think this domination will continue for atleast the upcoming few years.
Great start from Bing. Bing is become a serious competitor for Google and Yahoo, in coming days we can see it will cross Google or not…
