I've only had good experiences with GoDaddy. Find coupons, and it competes for lowest prices [including .89 infos right now]. You can get a refund within 5 days for domains [hassle free and quick refunds (withing a few hours)]. Also, you get a lot of free stuff with domain registrations [free hosting, free domain locking (preventing theft or unauthorized account changes), etc . .].

I'd say to check GoDaddy - take them for a spin. Find good promotions - win, win, win.

I just got a domain off eBay for .75 - transferred for free to name.com. No free hosting or website creation or anything is included.

Those are the only two I've tried - summation: GoDaddy over Name.com. GoDaddy is the most inexpensive and includes great features and freebies [especially when using promo codes that are seemingly always available].

Hi there ..I'm a newbie and I've heard that Bluehost.com got a sweet offer,a friend of mine actually registered there...
$107.4 for one year. UNLIMITED Hosting Space, UNLIMITED File Transfer, UNLIMITED Domains, and a lot more...
I'm really confused right now as to what provider should I choose? I've checked all the domain names you guys mentioned ( namecheap, name, domainsite, etc.) but I just can't seem to make up my mind yet..
Could you guys tell me whether bluehost.com is any good at all ?
Just check the site first and let me know whether they really offer a sweet deal or is it just another marketing trick ?

Godaddy has great support and prices. I like the free private whois if I get 6+ names, they also have best price for .info I can find anywhere. I have also used Name.com and 1&1. Right now 1&1 has $2.99 .us and $4.99 .org which is awesome. I will just transfer out of there in a year.

Most of them are scammer but the most scammers and fraud leaders : Directnic.com,Godaddy.com,Dynadot.com,Name.com,Enom.com.
You can work with others but dont spend much money.

I prefer Dynadot.com, as they are very simple, its possible to pay via Moneybookers also, and their layout is so simple, not with so many options like at Godaddy. And i had never any problems with them. Also, they ofter have some extensions on discount.

Namecheap, obviously. Don't go for GD, they are scammers.
