I currently have 2 directories http://www.dirking.info and http://www.linkking.info. I get about 500 free submissions per week on each. I am thinking about charging $1 per submission without reciprocal link. Anyone have any feedback on this?
ya you can try that may be some people are not more interested in reciprocal linking but can pay a little for that
Not a good idea to use .info domain, you even don't want to spend a few bucks to register a .com domain, who do have confidence to submit their sites to your directories? Be clear and be smart, please dude.
Hi, If your take some money then probably people will not submit into your directory and they will look for free submissions.
500 submissions per week is a number that most free directories can get, you need better branding or presence for people to start paying you.
I would go with .com domains, and yes, as a business, you should make money at some point, with a good presense and branding.
Yes, with .info people will think you are not dedicated to the site and will be scared off before they even click. I didn't look at the sites, as I wouldn't pay for a link on a .info unless there was something very special about it.
I just checked both your sites out there great looking sites, not that old either and already getting pr rating, I was just searching in here for some free directorys to go in, Thank's. Just added my site and my wifes site, Thank's again.
I think its a mistake to charge when you're so small - build you base first then look at ways of getting cash.
No reason why you cant. I would slightly alter your About us info on one of them, they are both using the exact same text. It says in the guidelines that its Family Friendly but i see you listing Adult sex toys, erection pills, orgasm pills etc Your choice of course, you're the owner but sometimes owners forget things like this and dont realise the contradiction. Your also listing porn sites sex massage, lol
I do a quick research on that two directory websites, can you tell me where I can submit massage, pls leave the links here!
Hmmm............... Seems that may be family friendly if you are thinking in terms of expanding the family.
