Hello everyone. I have a client that would like a complete rework of his home page. Looking for a clean corporate look. Crisp lines, good use of whitespace. Needs to fit 1024x768 w/ no left/right scrolling (vertical scrolling is fine) He wants the colors used on this site : http://tinyurl.com/l9b96y (Not the design - he just likes the green tones of this site). The home page can be found here : http://taketwodevelopment.com/landevex/index.htm The links dont work - but the nav bar on top works as well as the tabs below the welcome tag line. Please feel free to use any images that you wish (as long as you have the rights to do so (or grab from istockphoto or similar and we buy them later) Delivery in PSD format please. Winner will be selected on Friday. Bonus $25.00 to the winner if you change the psd to HTML and CSS. Any questions, feel free to PM me. Thanks -Rob
Some more information on what your friend's website main purpose would be helpful to most designers. Thanks
Hi, Here is my entry - I've gone with something a bit more extreme, please let me know what you think (larger preview is available, just let me know) I haven't filled the right hand side with content, but if you want it in there I'll make the changes. Regards, Steve
First design ive ever done, dont think its horrible for my first. Feedback please. Can change anything you dont like
Sorry - I assumed a quick peak at the page would give that info. Its essentially a site to bring together people that own and and developers looking for land.
Some feedback: Graffworld2 : Way too green. Does not give that professional look they are after. Looking for a corporate look. stardesigns99 : very plain. copspushmongo : sorry - not at all what they are after. Steve136 : Not too bad - can you crisp up the lines a bit? Maybe tone down the b/g a bit. They are really looking for a crisp clean design - good use of whitespace. No need to go over the top w/ the green - just wanted to give the idea of the palette they are after.
vtopaloff : its ok - looking for "crisper" here are a few examples of type of look they are after http://tinyurl.com/nnesrz http://tinyurl.com/myeelt nice simple clean lines - good use of whitespace
So could you please give me exact instructions how to improve it on PM. Tell me what does your client like or dislike, and I'll make it better. Thank you for the feedback. vtopaloff
