Hi all, been looking to start some affiliate marketing utilising the digital products available on Clickbank. There seems to be enough choice in a fair breadth of subjects...however I am unsure as to the quality of some of the offerings. Ideally I would like to try some of these products....or just look them over to guage the quality. After all you don't want to be promoting a shoddy product do you? My question is how do you get to try or view these to get a feel for what they're about? I don't mind purchasing the odd one or two...but in terms of comparing them, how do get to analyse a few of them to select which one you prefer promoting? Is this a fair question, or is just that Clickbank have done the initial "screening" and have passed it as OK to be on their site, therefore the product is satisfactory?
Hello I am a newbie as well and have not got my head around everything yet. I am at information overload stage check this site : http://www.cb-analytics.com/ and also cb monitor which you can get to from that page as well also read, read and more reading of everyones posts in this forum will help cheers
Checkout Nichejunky in my sig link. We list all the products in a nice interface that can easily be sorted and searched through. You can get a list of clickbank vendors that have uploaded their affiliate material and showing willingness to help out cb affiliates like yourself
CB-analytics and similar sites are great research tools, but at the end of the day to choose the right product you need to be an expert in your niche. If you know about your niche, then you can easily spot a BS product just by reading the sales page.
Hi, Ive been using clickbank for a while now. The poster who said you can spot the bad products from the bad sales pages is 100% correct. However there are many borderline ones, so the simple way to check them is to buy them.......but then make sure you avail of the refund. The refund policy is 100% gaurenteed and you will get refunded witout fail within 5 or 6 days. Of course if u genuinely want the product then dont request the refund. Does anyone know if this "refund limit" or "refund restriction" that clickbank talk up to vendors is true, and if so what the limit is? I suspect there is none, as a "friend" of mine has had at least 60 refunds by now
Nice to hear you can make a full living from clickbank. Only 9 posts and you make a killing clickbank...
you can : 1) chek http://www.cb-analytics.com/ 2) google for reviews about your product to see what people think about it 3) Visit Ezine or articles base and search for " Your Product review " or " Your Product scam " ... or stuff like that 4) Try to contact the product owner and ask him your questions , Some of them don't mind giving a free copy to affiliates 5) Search in Yahoo answers and see what you'r potential costumers are looking for 6) Be creative, look for informations and try to understand the market and if your newbie don't try to promote products with high gravity because that might be hard for a beginner Good luck
Great advice I am new to CB also and just got my first sale after 4-5 months it takes time and think alot of people go into this thinking they can retire in 3 months It takes work, research, R&D and patience. Good luck hang in there.
Thanks.....so from what I see there is no real way of actually evaluating the material itself on Clickbank, it's a matter of doing research by other means and doing due diligence by investigation on other sites. Seems a long way round of doing things, but if that's the way.....
Need to be careful with buying to evaluate and then requesting a refund. CB has started cracking down and has cancelled affiliates' accounts for requesting too many refunds. I think there is a post in this thread about it and it started around the time CB made it easier to get refunds. I often contact the owners and request a copy for evaluation purposes and have had good luck with them. I always tell them up front that I would rather get a trial copy so that I don't mess their stats up when I get a refund. Zeek
Hi, I like to perform my own analytics. What i do is perform a google search on the products and make a note of how many ppc advertisers are advertising in google ads for the product over a period of time. PPC advertisers are a dime a dozen and new advertisers dropping out will mean one of two things: Either the product is not all that hot or their keyword targeting is too expensive Another indicator is the number of reviewer sites out there e.g, 3 CBProductA-reviews vs 5 CBProductB-reviews will give you some insight into which products are probably having better CTRs.
