It's total gravity during the last year.

There are many products that would have a gravity spike of hundreds but then decay as they don't sell anymore.
Products with high total gravity sell consistently.

So Σ7K means that if you take gravity of this product for each day of the most recent 365 days you'll get value between 7,000 and 7,999 that means that during that period average daily gravity was 20. This doesn't take into account age of the product.

Also take a look at Clickbank 2008 Hall of Fame.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Any of these affiliates could have sold 1 of 1000 copies on that particular day. So this really tells you little about sales volume. It's also possible that publisher sold product directly (this will not be reflected in gravity at all).

You can take a look at monthly visitor count that is also displayed on CB-analytics. This can give you an idea about overall sales volume.

Σ (sigma) is a greek symbol (capitalized) used in mathematics to denote a "total".

I would love to see a normalised Σ that takes into account the age of the product.

Bit off topic, but what's going on with cb-analytics. It hasn't updated for a few days. I know there are other alternatives I could use , but I like cb-analytics the most. When is it going to start updating normally?

Should be back on track within couple of days.

I believe that CB-analytics offers most information of these 3. I could have done a side by side comparison buy people can just visit all 3 and decide.

My opinion can be biased of course :)

And I'm always open to suggestions on how to improve CB-analytics

I use cb-analytics the most, NJ is also not bad. What I like in cb-analytics, is that it updates a few hours earlier that the other sites, and I like to check stats as soon as possible.

I don't understand what people see in CB-engine, it updates only once per week, and you have to pay for some of the features.
