Besides, this thread is about the Open Directory Project/DMOZ, which is neither a search engine nor a listing directory. However, if you are talking about the ODP, I hope you read the instructions when suggesting your site, because they clearly warn about the penalties for excessively repeated submissions.
You can be indexed in google, yahoo, ask, altavista and other search engines if u r presenting unique contents and usefull data
In case they are posting in the right place and asking about a DMOZ listing for the site. Its not listable. I think I suggested that to you previously in another thread.
Keep posting your website url around forums, article directories etc and your website will be picked up. Just be patient.
submit your website in different search engine and make quality back links for your website and one more thing unique content also helps to your website listed in search engine
Do you actually read threads before you post in them? How will that help ANY site get listed in DMOZ?
The thread is about how to get a search engine listed within the ODP. If sites are not listed, what are they? "added"? If that is the case, then please read the first post as "how can I get a search engine ADDED" If it's not ADDED, then replace the word with whatever is the correct word for when editors ADD a site to the directory LISTINGS...
My point is that because the ODP is not a listing directory, nobody can "get" a site listed, added, or whatever, so the original question indicates a basic misunderstanding of the purpose of DMOZ.
I was just clearing up the question posed in the thread, not the answer to the question. an editor can get a site listed, added, or whatever... and honestly, it would be VERY nice of you to actually give us the word we should use rather then just coming into thread after thread to tell us which words we should not be using.
Its not necessary to submit your site to search engines.. You can start getting quality of back links to get index..
It looks like a mod has removed this thread to the Google forum. Why? It looks as though the original poster was asking how to get his search engine listed in DMOZ/ODP !
He posted it in the DMOZ forum, so I assume that he was asking about DMOZ. A mod has moved it here to the Google forum
"Totally saved: 72 kWh" lol is that much electricity really saved from changing background from white to black nice concept
