Will this work?

Hey guys,
I have been running my friends adsense ads on my site..I now want to apply now for my own adsense account..Do you think i should take of the adsense ads right now on my site?or its ok to apply with the current ads still on?

 

Actually I don't know, but I think you should remove the ads and then apply your own account.

 

It was okay previously to apply on a site where adsense is already running. They changed the TOS and now the site has to be registered with your name for last 6 months at least to approve one adsense account. I am guessing it is okay to apply having the friends account running on the site.

 

Never try this before but i suggest to remove the adsense ads before you apply

 

I agree with lifeplayer, removing the ads first would be better. Logically applying a new account with a current adsense ads does not make sense. And good luck!

 

obviously take them off....... use your head man lol

but make sure to let google know that you have your friend's adsense ads on your site before. Cause google tracks that.

 

To be on safer side, I'd first remove those ads and then apply. Adsense does allow running ads from two publishers on same site but to be on safer side, apply after removing your friend's adsense code.

Interesting! Do you have a link for this? I'm unable to get one for myself.

 

I would suggest that you take down those ads first and then apply for your own. and remember to ensure that teh site is registered to your name when you apply for the adsense account.

If I were you, I would remove those ads until I get approval, I will then put them back again as long as they don't look like adsense ads.
