After browsing many of these webmaster forums and hearing the same things repeated over and over again, my colleagues and I at MoneyStance.com decided to post an article to address what website traffic building strategies are actually worth the time investment. I’m here to share with you the article titled, “Squawking Parrots Infect Website Traffic Building Strategies.†We are interested in your take on the position and if you have a rebuttal to any of the arguments.
For traffic building, you must be very careful on keyword research. A lot of application can be applied here. Some of that which im using is marketsamurai.com and tools.seobook.com
Superb Article.... Thanks for clarifying that ... I always felt that "parrrots were squaking" in a lot of these forums but since i am new to internet marketing i was beginning to believe all the "squaking" ... Your article certainly helped me see he light in what i have beeen suspecting anyways for a long time.
There are a lot of terms there that I have repeatedly stated with this and my other username, copper12, and also in my marketing site. Heh come on, did ya think that I wouldn't have noticed that you copied off of me? You should do your own work, and put it in your own words. But, with that said, I really don't care. Thank you for agreeing, and putting it in your site. I just wish many other sites would do the same. There would be fewer webmasters quitting out of frustration if they knew the reality of getting visitors and making money.
Besides most of the list consisting of the bleeding obvious (directories don't work? really? neither does blog commenting? no way!), I think this point stuck with me most. I've changed from monetizing my sites via adsense, to creating an ecommerce website and selling my own products - an online store. I really think this particular point cannot be emphasized enough. As much as I'd love organic traffic, I've laid some good groundwork spending only a few hundred dollars advertising my site via Adwords - and now the rest comes naturally. Every couple of weeks, I'll unpause the ads, or make a new ad for a new product, but other than that, even without ranking in any SEs, I'd say my sales are still quite high!
i kinda didn't get the parrot part of it .. how many times did we all hear "think outside the box to become successful" ? yes if i could think outside the box enough - i could have been in place of Bill Gates .. or should i say Warren Buffet ..but as you may guess - i'm not, and noone on this forum is. The ones who ARE - will most likely not read this forum and your blog .. they don't have the time and the need for it The only fact that you expect readers to your article should assume you also expect your readers are not those genius "think outisde the box" guys .. so you should write for the ones who can NOT (mostly) think outside the box. and if by "think outisde the box" you mean a little bit of creativity - i belive all of us in this forum have that bit in them - otherwise we wouldn't be here but rather on a construction job carrying some heavy things ..
I think you missed the point. The article just tries to dispel some of the misinformation that's on DigitalPoint and is being spread here on a daily basis.
i have used SEObook, but never heard of this market samurai, looks really good, downloading the 12 dat trial, lets see how it works for me
Hyland123, you're an idiot. It was good info, but copying from another poster is not "very well thought out and put together." *rolls eyes*
